The Warp Dive Bar is a late-game station building in Star Trek Fleet Command. It unlocks at Operations level 55 and upgrades to level 80. Its main job is access: reaching level 20 opens the first Maverick Task Key in the Maverick Faction store, and higher levels improve what that store pays out. Along the way it raises Parsteel cost efficiency for your buildings and adds Isolytic damage against Conqueror Borg Solo Armadas. For most players it is worth building for the Maverick access alone. Upgrades after level 1 cost Exotic Spirits Shipment, 53,670 in total to reach level 80, which you get from the Maverick Faction and the Store.
What the Warp Dive Bar does
In-game, the Warp Dive Bar is decorated after the Crash-n-Burn bar in Bozeman, Montana, a nod to Zefram Cochrane and Humanity’s First Contact. The menu runs from Romulan Ale and Warnog to house cocktails like the Maia Colada. It also acts as a hub for the Maverick Faction, who hand out weekly tasks and rewards. Mechanically the building does three things, and each one grows as you upgrade it.
| Buff | Active from level | Value at anchors |
|---|---|---|
| FKR Isolytic damage vs Conqueror Borg Solo Armadas | 1 | 5% at L1, 40% at L20, 100% at L50, 200% at L80 |
| Parsteel and Σ-Parsteel building cost efficiency | 20 | 25% at L20, 200% at L50, 500% at L80 |
| Maverick Task Keys unlocked | 20 | 1 at L20, 2 at L30, 3 at L40 and above |
The Isolytic damage buff is a combat bonus aimed at Conqueror Borg Solo Armadas, so it only matters if you run those. The Parsteel and Σ-Parsteel cost efficiency buff cuts the resource price of upgrading your other buildings, which is broadly useful once your station starts spending Parsteel by the trillions. The Maverick Task Key buff is the access piece: level 20 grants your first key, level 30 a second, and level 40 a third, letting you claim more from the Maverick Faction store each week.
Where to get Exotic Spirits
Exotic Spirits Shipment is the material every Warp Dive Bar upgrade needs, and it is used only by this building. The item text in game names two sources: the Maverick Faction and the Store. The one fixed grant is the 15 Exotic Spirits Shipment from The Warp Dive Part 2, paid when you finish building the bar.
The Maverick link runs both ways. The bar unlocks Maverick Task Keys at levels 20, 30 and 40, and the Maverick Faction is a source of the Exotic Spirits you need to reach those levels, so the first 20 levels are the ones to push hardest.
Exotic Spirits Shipment needed by level
The table lists the Exotic Spirits Shipment for each milestone level and the running total from level 1.
| Level | Exotic Spirits for this level | Exotic Spirits from level 1 |
|---|---|---|
| 5 | 25 | 70 |
| 10 | 50 | 270 |
| 15 | 100 | 670 |
| 20 | 175 | 1,395 |
| 25 | 275 | 2,570 |
| 30 | 375 | 4,245 |
| 35 | 475 | 6,420 |
| 40 | 600 | 9,170 |
| 45 | 725 | 12,545 |
| 50 | 850 | 16,545 |
| 55 | 975 | 21,170 |
| 60 | 1,100 | 26,420 |
| 65 | 1,225 | 32,295 |
| 70 | 1,350 | 38,795 |
| 75 | 1,475 | 45,920 |
| 80 | 1,600 | 53,670 |
Level 20, the first Maverick Task Key, takes 1,395 Exotic Spirits Shipment in total. The second key at level 30 takes 4,245 and the third at level 40 takes 9,170. After that the per-level cost rises by a steady 125 every five levels, up to 1,600 for level 80.
How to unlock the Warp Dive Bar
Placing the level 1 Warp Dive Bar requires Operations level 55, and that is the only building requirement. If your Operations is already at 55 or higher, you can start it right away. The Operations requirement holds at 55 through the bar’s level 55, then climbs in step with the building: level 60 needs Operations 60, and each milestone after that needs your Operations at the matching level, up to Operations 80 for the final upgrade.
You also need The Warp Dive Bar Key. It is the reward for The Warp Dive Part 1, a mission that becomes available from your Gifts at Operations level 55 or higher. Part 2 of the same chain asks you to build the bar and pays 15 Exotic Spirits Shipment, a small head start on the first upgrades.
Upgrade costs and build times
The Warp Dive Bar uses a dedicated material, Exotic Spirits Shipment, on top of Parsteel and refined ore. Here are milestone costs across the climb to level 80. Build times are unboosted.
| Level | Cost | Build time | Requires |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 1 Warp Dive Bar Key, 29.71B Parsteel | 35s | Operations 55 |
| 10 | 50 Exotic Spirits Shipment, 1.307T Parsteel, 4,700 5★ Common Refined Ore | 1h 50m | Operations 55 |
| 20 | 175 Exotic Spirits Shipment, 7.47T Parsteel, 16,450 5★ Common Refined Ore | 1d 2h | Operations 55 |
| 30 | 375 Exotic Spirits Shipment, 10,800 5★ Uncommon Refined Ore, 20.08T Parsteel | 3d 1h | Operations 55 |
| 40 | 600 Exotic Spirits Shipment, 17,280 5★ Uncommon Refined Ore, 40.18T Parsteel | 14d 22h | Operations 55 |
| 50 | 850 Exotic Spirits Shipment, 24,480 5★ Uncommon Refined Ore, 68.6T Parsteel | 42d 22h | Operations 55 |
| 60 | 1,100 Exotic Spirits Shipment, 701.2T Parsteel, 9,702 5★ Rare Refined Ore | 108d 12h | Operations 60 |
| 70 | 1,350 Exotic Spirits Shipment, 7,430 6★ Rare Refined Ore, 87.03M Σ-Parsteel | 538d 4h | Operations 70 |
| 80 | 1,600 Exotic Spirits Shipment, 4,599 7★ Rare Refined Ore, 1.326B Σ-Parsteel | 2690d 20h | Operations 80 |
Taking the Warp Dive Bar from level 1 to 80 costs roughly 3,907T Parsteel, 6.29B Σ-Parsteel, and 53,670 Exotic Spirits Shipment, plus about 1.18 million refined ore across the 5★ to 7★ tiers. The cumulative build time is about 18,953 days unboosted, so construction speedups and building-speed bonuses do the real work at the top end.
How the Warp Dive Bar fits your station
Because it needs Operations 55, the Warp Dive Bar is a late-game project that newer commanders will not see for a long while. Once it is available, the first target is level 20. That unlocks your first Maverick Task Key, which is the reason most players build it, and it turns on the Parsteel and Σ-Parsteel cost efficiency buff that helps pay down the heavy Parsteel bills your other upgrades run up. The Isolytic damage buff is narrow and only earns its keep if you fight Conqueror Borg Solo Armadas. A sensible plan is to rush level 20 for the key and the cost efficiency, then upgrade further as your Operations level and material stockpiles allow.
For the targets behind the Isolytic damage buff, see our solo armadas guide. The Parsteel and Sigma resources guides cover the two resources the cost efficiency buff saves on.
Is the Warp Dive Bar worth upgrading?
Yes, at least to level 20. The Maverick Task Key access and the building cost efficiency buff both start there, and both help a wide range of players. Past level 20 the returns are steady rather than dramatic: more task keys at 30 and 40, higher cost efficiency, and stronger armada damage if you need it. The highest levels carry enormous Parsteel and build-time costs, so most commanders will upgrade the bar gradually alongside the rest of their late-game station rather than rushing it to 80.
