Separator is a standalone Romulan faction mission in Star Trek Fleet Command. A subservient colony has tried to cut ties with the Tal Shiar, and you are sent to bring the Manaran Mining Company back in line. You pick it up in Vendus A, fight two Manaran ships in Wezen, then return with the company’s gift. It needs warp 19 throughout, the game lists a recommended level of 1, and it pays Romulan Credits, Romulan Points and 44,000 Dilithium.
Separator objectives
Four objectives across two systems, no choice split:
- Visit the Director of the Manaran Mining Company. Location: Wezen.
- Destroy a Manaran survey ship. Location: Wezen (enemy strength about 44,329).
- Defeat the Manaran Security Force. Location: Wezen (enemy strength about 54,559).
- Return to Menra with the Mining Company’s gift. Location: Vendus A.
The visit to the Director sets things up, and then the mission turns into two fights in Wezen. The survey ship goes first at about 44,000 strength, then the Security Force at about 54,500. After that the company hands over its gift, and you carry it back to Menra in Vendus A.
Where and what warp
Separator is picked up in Vendus A. It needs warp 19 both to start and to complete, so the range you need to pick it up is the range you need to finish it.
The recommended level is listed as 1. The Security Force fight at about 54,500 strength is the real test, so judge your readiness by that number.

The Federation and Klingon Points figures are negative, so they are deductions rather than gains. Separator does not lead into another mission.
Separator and Pathfinding compared
Both are standalone Romulan missions with a pickup system and a warp range in the high teens.

Pathfinding is a patrol with no combat, while Separator asks for two fights and pays three times the Romulan Credits and nearly four times the Romulan Points.
Tips
Repair between the two Wezen fights. The Security Force is the stronger of the pair and comes straight after the survey ship.
