R&D Department Level 47 is a late station mission in Star Trek Fleet Command with one objective: upgrade the R&D Department to level 47. It needs only warp 1 to start and finish, and the game lists a recommended level of 1. The reward is 100 100K Dilithium Tokens and 60 8 Hour Speed Ups, and finishing it unlocks Ship Hangar Level 47. The upgrade is expensive and slow, so the reward softens a very large bill.

No system, hostile or donation is involved. The mission completes when the upgrade does.

Warp 1 to start and to complete, with no pickup system. The whole mission happens on your station. The recommended level is listed as 1, but R&D 47 is an endgame upgrade, and its requirements decide when you finish.
