Out of Sight is a Klingon storyline mission in Star Trek Fleet Command in which you ambush a Federation repair vessel and raid a hidden base. The game lists a recommended level of 1; it starts at warp 1 and needs warp 17 to finish. There are two named fights plus 18 hostile kills, and the reward is 257,000 Parsteel, 90,000 Officer XP, 60 Klingon Credits and 600 Klingon Points. The Officer XP makes it one of the better payouts in this stretch of the chain.
Out of Sight objectives
There are six objectives and no choice split:
- Go to K’amia to ambush the Federation vessel. Location: K’amia.
- Disable the Federation vessel. Location: K’amia (enemy strength ~54,559).
- Find the hidden base in Huebr. Location: Huebr.
- Defeat 18 hostiles of Level 22 or higher.
- Destroy the Federation Agent Battleship. Location: Huebr (enemy strength ~39,484).
- Bring the captured data to Vos’Keth station. Location: Krah’Hor.
The mission runs in three stages. First you ambush and disable the repair vessel in K’amia, the tougher of the two named fights. Then you move to Huebr, find the hidden base, clear 18 hostiles and destroy the Federation Agent Battleship. Last, you carry the captured data to Vos’Keth station in Krah’Hor.
Where and what warp
Warp 1 to start and warp 17 to complete, with no pickup system. The travel covers three systems: K’amia, Huebr and Krah’Hor.
The level 22 floor on the hostiles and the 54,559 strength of the Federation vessel are the numbers that tell you whether your ship is ready.

Every mission here lists level 1 and finishes between warp 17 and 20. Out of Sight is the only one in the run that pays Officer XP, and its Parsteel is the largest figure in the table.
Tips
Go into K’amia at full health. The Federation vessel there is the strongest listed enemy in the mission, stronger than the Agent Battleship waiting in Huebr.
Clear the 18 hostiles close to Huebr. They have no system requirement, but the Agent Battleship fight comes right after them in Huebr, so farming nearby saves a trip. Repair before the battleship if the hostile kills have worn your ship down.
The 90,000 Officer XP is the most useful reward if you have officers waiting on a level. Put it toward the crew you use for these Klingon storyline fights.
