Learn the Hard Way is a level 44 mission in Star Trek Fleet Command in which you help someone get out from under a brutal gang. It is picked up in Ovala and needs warp 110 to start and to finish. You find the gang in Imada, defeat Tibek and return to Sanfrey. The reward is 56,800,000 Parsteel, 60,000 Officer XP and 18 4★ Uncommon Refined Crystal. It is a short, three-step mission with a big Parsteel payout for the level.

The gang is in Imada, and Tibek is the one fight. Once Tibek is beaten, you report back to Sanfrey in Ovala, where the mission began. Nothing is donated along the way.

Learn the Hard Way is picked up in Ovala and needs warp 110 to start and warp 110 to complete. Imada is the only other system.
The recommended level is 44. No enemy strength is listed for Tibek, so the level recommendation is the best guide to how hard the fight is.

Our Home Is Not Our Own also passes through Ovala, looking for the Vulcan fleet, so the two missions share a stop. Learn the Hard Way pays a little less Parsteel but adds Officer XP and 4★ crystal. What Logic Leaves Behind is lower, at warp 90, and pays Dilithium and speed ups instead of Parsteel.
Tips
Bring a combat ship for Tibek. It is the only fight, and with no listed strength, go in with a ship that is comfortable at level 44.
Imada also appears in Mistrust, where you escape Klingon space through it. If you run that chain, you will already know the route.
