Klingon Supreme Burial Ship

The Klingon Supreme Burial Ship armada is found in four systems, all at level 39 and warp 120: Antrexi, Finlayson, Iradrias and Schouten-Adavi. It is a Neutral armada target rather than a roaming hostile, so it holds station in those systems and you attack it with your hardest-hitting ship or a formed armada. Each kill gives 868 base ship XP, with Mycelium Spores as an occasional bonus drop.

Klingon Burial Ship armada locations

There are two burial ship armadas, and searches for the Klingon Burial Ship often mean either one. The Supreme version covered on this page is the level 39 target in deep space at warp 120. The smaller Klingon Burial Ship sits at level 31 at warp 25 in a different set of six systems. Both drop Mycelium Spores, and the Supreme ship drops roughly three times as many.

Armada Level Warp Systems
Klingon Supreme Burial Ship 39 120 Antrexi, Finlayson, Iradrias, Schouten-Adavi
Klingon Burial Ship 31 25 Aletara, Blys, Ferrer, Kavka, Ordesia, Pandosia

The Supreme Burial Ship has one level and one warp requirement, so the choice comes down to distance: pick whichever of the four systems is closest to your base, set warp 120 and fly there. For a wider view of where every armada target sits, see the armada locations guide.

How to beat the Klingon Supreme Burial Ship

The Supreme Burial Ship is an armada target, not a roaming Interceptor, Battleship or Explorer, so the hull-counter triangle does not apply. There is no class to swap between and nothing to counter. What matters is raw damage and a ship that can stay alive through a long fight. You can start the fight from the target, lead with one strong ship and have alliance members join with a ship each, or take it on alone if your ship can outlast the level 39 stat wall.

It has no ship ability, so there are no special rules to plan around. The danger is volume: 237 million hull and 53 million shield points take a long time to grind down, and its Kinetic guns hit hard every other round.

For crew, lean on a captain that boosts weapon damage against hostiles and officers that add damage or mitigation. At level 39 and warp 120 this sits past the early cadet stage, so build from your mid-game roster rather than a starter crew. The Officer Tier List tracks the current best picks. Crews shift with the meta, so treat any single recommendation as a starting point and adjust to what you have unlocked.

Rewards and what it drops

The steady reward is ship XP: 868 base per kill, which helps level a hull you are grinding up. Mycelium Spores are the tracked drop, at 9,600 to 14,401 when they land, but they come as an occasional drop rather than a guaranteed one, so treat them as a bonus on top of the XP.

Drop What it is
Mycelium Spore A resource you convert into Cultivated Mycelium in the Mycelium Greenhouse. Cultivated Mycelium fuels the U.S.S. Discovery’s spore drive.
Ship XP 868 base XP per kill for the ship that lands it.

Klingon Supreme Burial Ship stats

These figures are for the level 39 armada target. An armada hits far harder and lasts far longer than a roaming hostile of the same level.

Level Total strength Hull HP Shield HP Attack Defense Ship XP
39 154,440,682 237,773,699 52,886,856 6,768,305 2,342,100 868

Klingon Supreme Burial Ship firing pattern

The Supreme Burial Ship carries two weapon groups. Its three Energy weapons fire every round for steady pressure, while its two Kinetic weapons hit far harder but only fire every other round. Time repairs and mitigation around those heavier Kinetic volleys.

Weapon type Count Damage per shot Fires Crit
Energy 3 227,615–303,487 Every round 10% (1.5x)
Kinetic 2 681,073–832,422 Every other round 10% (1.5x)

The Klingons in Star Trek

The Klingons are a warrior people from Qo’noS whose culture runs on honor, house loyalty and readiness for battle. Their beliefs give death its own weight. Once the spirit leaves for Sto-vo-kor, the afterlife reserved for the honored dead, a fallen warrior’s body is treated as an empty shell. Companions may keep the Ak’voh, guarding the body so the spirit can move on, and warriors sometimes howl toward the sky to warn Sto-vo-kor that one of their own is coming. A vessel built to carry the honored dead grows out of that reverence for warriors who die well.

Is the Klingon Supreme Burial Ship worth grinding?

It is a solid source of ship XP if you are leveling a hull and want an armada-style target around level 39, and its 868 base XP beats the 555 XP of the level 31 Klingon Burial Ship. The Mycelium Spore drop is a bonus rather than a reason to camp it, since it lands only now and then. Bring a strong ship or gather a full armada, match warp 120, and go to whichever of Antrexi, Finlayson, Iradrias or Schouten-Adavi is nearest.
