Illusys is a level 60 Neutral star system in deep space, and you need warp 900 to reach it. There is no entry cost. Three level 60 hostiles spawn here: the Hirogen Hunter Elite, the Hirogen Transport Freighter and the Species 8472 Bio-ship, which drop Hirogen Relics and Exotic Biotoxins for the Voyager refinery. Illusys is also the destination of the Voyage to Illusys mission, which unlocks a warp path for much faster access to the system and pays 630 Voyager Ship Parts.

Voyage to Illusys mission
Voyage to Illusys is a one-step mission: travel to Illusys to unlock a new warp path. You complete an astrometric survey on arrival, and the new path makes travel through this sector much faster from then on. There is nothing to fight when you get there, so the only gate is the warp.
| Detail | Value |
|---|---|
| Objective | Travel to Illusys to unlock a new warp path |
| Recommended level | 1 (the warp is the real requirement) |
| Warp to complete | 900 |
| Rewards | 630 Voyager Ship Parts, 50 Commerce Insignia |
Voyager Ship Parts upgrade components on the U.S.S. Voyager, and Commerce Insignia exchange for bundles in the Commerce category of the Voyager refinery. Illusys pays the most Voyager Ship Parts of the four warp path missions, which are compared on the Voyage missions page.
Hostiles in Illusys
Every hostile here is level 60, one of each hull type except Explorer. The drops feed the Voyager refinery, where Hirogen Relics and Exotic Biotoxins both exchange for bundles.
| Hostile | Level | Hull | Strength | Drop per kill |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Hirogen Hunter Elite | 60 | Battleship | 1,398,021,361 | 929 to 995 Hirogen Relics |
| Hirogen Transport Freighter | 60 | Survey | 1,398,021,361 | 5,574 to 6,968 Hirogen Relics |
| Species 8472 Bio-ship | 60 | Interceptor | 4,046,036,782 | 5,162 to 5,524 Exotic Biotoxins |
The Transport Freighter is the best Hirogen Relic target in the system: it has the same strength as the Hunter Elite but drops roughly six times as many relics. The Bio-ship is almost three times stronger than either Hirogen ship, so bring your strongest Battleship for it.
Planets and housing in Illusys
Illusys has 3 planets, and only one of them, Giguwed, has a name. There are no mines. This system doesn’t have any housing, so no player stations sit here.
Systems like Illusys
Sirpa is the other level 60 deep space system at warp 900 with the same three hostiles, so it offers the same targets and drops. FSEP-001, also level 60 at warp 900, has only the Species 8472 Bio-ship. For every other region, browse the full star system list.
Is Illusys worth the trip?
At warp 900 Illusys is an endgame trip, so it is worth it for two reasons. First, the one-time Voyage to Illusys mission pays 630 Voyager Ship Parts and opens a faster warp path. Second, the level 60 Hirogen Transport Freighters and Species 8472 Bio-ships are strong sources of Hirogen Relics and Exotic Biotoxins for the Voyager refinery. Players short of warp 900 should farm the lower-level Hirogen systems first.
