Identity is a five-part Star Trek Fleet Command mission chain that starts with a distress signal and turns into a hunt for Asher, a man whose past catches up with him across neutral and Romulan space. Parts 1 to 3 are recommended for level 45 and Parts 4 and 5 for level 46. You pick it up in New Canberra at warp 95, and warp to complete runs from 100 to 120. The chain pays Federation Credits and Federation reputation in four of its five parts, along with big Dilithium drops, and the finale lets you choose between Geordi La Forge shards and a huge Parsteel payout. Every Federation gain costs you Klingon standing.

Tips for completing Identity
Warp is the gate. You need warp 95 to pick up Part 1 in New Canberra, and the chain climbs to 120 in Parts 4 and 5. Check your ship’s warp range before you accept the first part.
The fights are heavy. Every named enemy sits between about 8.18M and 9.53M strength, with Vanja’s ship in Part 4 the toughest. Part 3 strings three of them together in Draomn, so start it with a fully repaired ship.
Two parts have big costs. Part 2 asks for a 22M Tritanium donation and Part 4 for a 21M Dilithium payment. Part 3 pays 8.68M Dilithium just before Part 4, which helps, but have the rest ready so the chain does not stall. Part 4 then pays back 15.4M Dilithium.
Think about faction standing before you start. Across the chain you gain about 1.57M Federation Points and 2,800 Federation Credits, and you lose about 2.27M Klingon Points and about 450,000 Romulan Points. If you are working on Klingon reputation, that loss matters.
The Part 5 choice is simple once you know what you need. Destroying Asher’s ship costs a fight near 9.25M and pays 13.65M Dilithium. Turning him in to Starfleet skips that fight and pays Geordi La Forge shards plus 471.9M Parsteel. The mission guide lists more chains for this level range.
Are the Identity rewards worth it?
For a Federation-aligned player at level 45, yes. The chain pays 2,800 Federation Credits, about 1.57M Federation Points, 2,400 4★ Explorer parts, 7,000 5★ Common Refined Gas and at least 24M Dilithium, then either another 13.65M Dilithium or La Forge shards with 471.9M Parsteel. The 22M Tritanium and 21M Dilithium costs and the Klingon reputation hit are the price.
