Exile is a Klingon mission in Star Trek Fleet Command where you collect a dangerous war criminal and deliver them to the prison colony on Rura Penthe. You pick the prisoner up on Qadev in Ganalda, fight off the ambushers who try to stop you, and fly on to Beta Penthe. It is picked up in Brestant at warp 40 and needs warp 50 to complete. The reward is 2,147,000 Tritanium, six 8 Hour Speed Ups, 500 Klingon Credits and 100,000 Klingon Points.

Exile objectives

There are three objectives in a fixed order and no choice split:

  • Collect the war criminal on Qadev. Location: Ganalda.
  • Destroy the ambushers. Location: Ganalda. Enemy strength is roughly 1,426,536.
  • Transport the criminal to Rura Penthe. Location: Beta Penthe.

The ambush comes straight after the pickup, in the same system. Once the ambushers are gone, the last step is a delivery run to Beta Penthe.

Where and what warp

Exile is only offered in Brestant, and you need warp 40 to accept it. Finishing it takes warp 50, because Beta Penthe sits further out than the pickup.

The game lists a recommended level of 1. The ambushers at about 1.43 million strength are the real bar, along with the warp 50 range.

The game lists Klingon Patrols, Klingon Fighters and Klingon War Armies in Brestant and Ganalda at level 37 to 41, with Veteran Klingon Patrols and Transports in Ganalda as well. Beta Penthe has Klingon hostiles from level 31 to 37, including Klingon Elite Assassins. None of these are mission targets.

Exile rewards

Reward Amount
Tritanium 2,147,000
8 Hour Speed Up 6
Klingon Credits 500
Klingon Points 100,000
Romulan Points -124,800

Exile is a standalone mission and does not unlock a follow-up. It is also the only mission offered from Brestant.

Other missions that visit Beta Penthe

Beta Penthe is a regular stop for Klingon-side missions around warp 30 to 50. Eavesdropping, for example, has you pick up a signal booster from Wezam in Beta Penthe for the Gorn. It pays 1,100,000 Parsteel at warp 33, a lighter job than Exile with a much smaller fight.

Tips

Bring a combat ship that can take a 1.4 million strength fight straight after arriving in Ganalda. There is no warm-up objective between the pickup and the ambush.

The six 8 Hour Speed Ups are worth 48 hours of build or research time, and the Tritanium is a large one-off boost for this warp range. Together they make Exile worth running whenever you are working in Klingon space at this warp.

The Klingon Points gain is offset by a loss of 124,800 Romulan Points, so leave it for later if you are building Romulan standing. Other missions by level are on the mission guide.
