True Duty is a Klingon story mission in Star Trek Fleet Command in which you meet Mo’Kai and earn his respect. It starts at warp 1 and needs warp 120 to complete, with a meeting in Rixos and the rest of the work in Lu’Kash. The one fight is Mo’Kai’s Scout, about 5.6 million strength. The reward is 64,800,000 Parsteel, 4 3 Hour Repair Speed Ups, 600 Klingon Credits and 448,000 Klingon Points, and it unlocks the next mission, Patience.
True Duty objectives
The story line reads: meet with Mo’Kai and earn his respect. There are three objectives and no choice split:
- Meet with Mo’Kai. Location: Rixos.
- Defeat Mo’Kai’s Scout. Location: Lu’Kash. Enemy strength about 5,649,811.
- Plant Starfleet wreckage. Location: Lu’Kash.
After the meeting in Rixos, the mission moves to Lu’Kash. You defeat Mo’Kai’s Scout and then plant Starfleet wreckage there, which is how you prove yourself in this story.

The mission starts at warp 1 and needs warp 120 to complete. Rixos and Lu’Kash are both Klingon systems.
The game lists a recommended level of 1, which does not reflect the mission. The warp 120 finish and a 5.6 million strength scout are what you need to be ready for.

Compensation and True Duty share a warp 120 finish. Patience drops back to warp 1, and it carries on the Klingon reputation payout with 538,000 more Klingon Points.
Tips
Take the steps in order. The meeting with Mo’Kai in Rixos has to come first, and nothing in Lu’Kash opens until it is done.
Repair before you go to Lu’Kash. Mo’Kai’s Scout is the only fight, and at about 5.6 million strength it is the step that decides whether you finish.
Weigh the Romulan cost. You gain 448,000 Klingon Points but lose 645,120 Romulan Points, so the mission favours players siding with the Klingonen.
The 64.8 million Parsteel is the main resource reward, and the four 3 Hour Repair Speed Ups cover the damage from the scout fight. Other missions by level are on the Missionsleitfaden.
