Cut Your Teeth is a Federation story mission in Star Trek Fleet Command where you take a fleet of Andorian Imperial Guard recruits on their first combat mission. You meet the Guard in Kildare, clear 15 hostiles of level 41 or higher, move on to Ash-tor to engage the Suliban, and clear another 15. It starts at warp 1 and needs warp 80 to complete. The reward is 58,800,000 Parsteel, fourteen 8 Hour Speed Ups, 600 Föderation Credits and 260,000 Federation Points, and finishing it unlocks Severed Ties.
Cut Your Teeth objectives
There are four objectives in a fixed order and no choice split:
- Go to Kildare and meet with the Imperial Guard. Location: Kildare.
- Defeat 15 hostiles of Level 41 or higher.
- Go to Ash-tor and engage the Suliban targets. Location: Aschentor.
- Defeat 15 hostiles of Level 41 or higher.
The mission is two rounds of hostile hunting, 30 kills in total at level 41 or above. Neither round names a system for the kills, and there is no named boss.
Wo und welcher Warp
You can accept Cut Your Teeth at warp 1, and warp 80 covers Kildare and Ash-tor. The game lists a recommended level of 1. The real requirement is a ship that can beat level 41+ hostiles thirty times.
The game lists Federation Patrols, Peacekeepers, Corvallen Mercenaries and a Federation Scout in Kildare, and Reckless Bandits and Suliban Assailants in Ash-tor. Both systems run from level 40 to 46, so most of their hostiles count toward the quotas.

The warp climbs with each mission, from 75 to 80 to 100. Cut Your Teeth is the one that pays Parsteel.
Tips
Farm the first 15 kills in Kildare while you are there for the Guard, and the second 15 in Ash-tor. Both systems have plenty of targets at level 41 or above, so there is no need for a detour.
Repair between the two rounds. Thirty fights in a row wears down any ship, and Ash-tor adds Suliban Assailants to the mix.
The Klingon Points loss of 393,120 is the cost of the big Federation gain. Abgang rechts is another mission that passes through Kildare. Other missions by level are on the Missionsleitfaden.
