Buried Secrets is a Klingon storyline mission in Star Trek Fleet Command that sends you to investigate a monumental discovery. It is picked up in Szov at warp 75, but completing it takes warp 95, and the recommended level is listed as 1. You report to Gorkon on Kronos, look into a dig site and a mining company, defeat 20 level 42+ hostiles and report back to Kang. The payout is 42,000,000 Parsteel, 320 Ultra Recruit Tokens and a large block of Klingon reputation.

The mission starts and ends on Kronos. Gorkon hands you the lead, the dig site in Somraw and the mining company in Hannlaw are the two investigation stops, and Kang takes your report at the end. In between sits the one combat objective, 20 hostiles of level 42 or higher, with no system named for it.
Wo und welcher Warp
The pickup system is Szov, which needs warp 75. The objectives reach further, and warp 95 is needed to complete the mission. That 20-point gap between start and finish is the main thing to check before you accept it: a ship that can reach Szov is not automatically able to finish the run.
The recommended level is listed as 1, but the combat step asks for hostiles of level 42 or higher and the warp needed is 95. Those two numbers, rather than the level, are the real measure of when this mission is ready to run.

Completing the mission also unlocks the next part of the storyline.
Tips
Check your warp against 95, not 75. Accepting the mission in Szov is the easy part. Kronos, Somraw and Hannlaw are where the objectives are, and the listed warp to complete is what you need to reach them.
Pick your hunting ground for the 20 kills. Because no system is named for the hostile objective, any hostiles of level 42 or higher count. Clear them wherever you can kill them fastest, then head to Kronos for the final report.
Think about the reputation swing before you finish. The mission adds 260,000 Klingon Points and 600 Klingon Credits, but it also takes 349,440 Romulan Points away. That Romulan loss is larger than the Klingon gain, so a player working on Romulan standing should weigh it.
The 42,000,000 Parsteel is the headline for most players, and 320 Ultra Recruit Tokens is a solid extra on top.
