Upgrade Operations to Level 7 is a station mission you clear without leaving your base. The single objective is the upgrade itself, the recommended level is 1, and the warp needed is 1 both to pick it up and to finish. The payout is 170 Tritanium and two 1 Minute Repair Speed Ups, and completing it opens the next part of the chain.
Upgrade Operations to Level 7 objectives
One objective, no branches, no travel.
- Upgrade Operations to Level 7.
Operations houses the command center and your station’s main computer, so this mission is a checkpoint on your base build order rather than a task with steps of its own. The log entry ticks over the moment the upgrade timer finishes. There is nothing to trigger, escort, or hand in afterward, and no hostile stands between you and the reward.
Wo und welcher Warp
Warp 1 to start and warp 1 to complete. Both numbers are the game telling you this one happens at home. You never leave your own system, so warp range and ship condition have no bearing on whether you can accept it or finish it.
The recommended level is 1, which puts the mission in the earliest stretch of station progression, well before any of the travel-heavy story arcs open up. On a mature account it has almost certainly cleared itself years ago without you noticing.
Upgrade Operations to Level 7 rewards
170 Tritanium and two 1 Minute Repair Speed Ups. Completing it also unlocks the next part of the chain.
Tritanium is the more useful half of that at this stage. Early station upgrades and ship components lean on it while your generators are still slow, so any amount arriving outside your own production helps. The speed ups are a minute each, which shaves the tail off a short repair rather than rescuing a badly damaged ship.
Set expectations accordingly: the payout is a small refund on an upgrade you were always going to buy, not a reason to prioritize the upgrade. The real reward is the Operations level.
Tips
Start the Operations upgrade at the end of a play session. It runs on a build timer and the mission only completes when that timer does, so kicking it off before you log off costs you nothing and puts the reward in your inbox by your next login.
Check your resource balance before committing. Operations is one of the more expensive Gebäude on the station, and the 170 Tritanium coming back is nowhere near what the upgrade costs, so budget the spend rather than counting on the reward to soften it.
Operations sets the ceiling for the rest of your station, and nothing else can be raised past it. If a mine or your Werft is refusing an upgrade, this is usually what is blocking the queue, which makes clearing it early worth more than the listed rewards suggest.
Hold the two speed ups for a moment when a minute actually matters. Two minutes of repair time is small, but during early grinding it can be the gap between sending a ship straight back out and sitting through a wait you did not plan for.
