The Kim of Infinite Promotion is a two-part mission chain in which Q dangles ultimate power in front of Ensign Harry Kim and then takes his meddling with Kim’s career much too far. Both parts are recommended for level 42. The chain is picked up in Minkalal and needs warp 28 to start, and Part 1 reaches warp 65 while Part 2 stays at warp 28. Part 1 pays a Tuvok shard and Dilithium, and Part 2 pays Parsteel, 4★ Raw Ore and speed ups.

Q is back and has Ensign Kim in his sights. The part moves between Minkalal and Veringan, with a hostile sweep in between and Zabrav the Fiend waiting at the end.

Q’s interference goes further in Part 2. Everything happens in Nygea, where you collapse a spatial anomaly, fold into a pocket dimension and travel back into real time.

Tips for completing The Kim of Infinite Promotion
Part 1 has two named fights, the alien vessel and Zabrav the Fiend, both in Minkalal, and 10 hostiles of level 40 or higher between them. No enemy strength is listed for either fight, so bring your usual combat ship.
Part 2 has no fights and no donations. It is four story objectives in Nygea at warp 28.
