The Deep End is a late-game Star Trek Fleet Command mission that continues the investigation into the disappearances. It can be picked up at warp 1 but needs warp 160 to complete, sending you to Talora and then asking for 15 hostile kills at level 48 or higher. The reward is 37,335,000 Tritanium and six 3 Hour Repair Speed Ups. It follows Poker Face and unlocks Trust Your Instincts.

The Deep End objectives

The story line is “Continue your investigation in the disappearances.” There are three objectives and no choice split:

  • Go into deeper space to investigate. Location: Talora.
  • Besiegen Sie 15 Feinde der Stufe 48 oder höher.
  • Kehren Sie zu Ihrer Station zurück.

The structure is simple. Reach Talora, clear 15 hostiles of level 48 or higher, then fly home. No system is attached to the hostile step in the mission Daten, and there are no named enemies, donations or choices. The hostile grind is where the time goes.

Wo und welcher Warp

Talora is the only system named. The mission can be accepted at warp 1, but warp 160 is needed to complete it, so reaching Talora is the first real hurdle.

The mission data lists a recommended level of 1, but the level 48 hostile requirement is a far better guide. This mission is aimed at players with late-game combat ships and warp range.

The Deep End rewards

Belohnung Amount
Tritanium 37,335,000
3 Hour Repair Speed Up 6

Completing The Deep End also unlocks Trust Your Instincts.

More than 37 million Tritanium is a big payout even at this stage of the game. The six 3 Hour Repair Speed Ups add up to 18 hours of repair time, which suits a mission built around 15 fights.

How it fits with the missions around it

The Deep End sits between two Missionen from the Maia storyline, all three at warp 150 or higher.

Mission Warp zum Abschließen What you do Belohnungen
Poker Face 150 Travel to Avofall, return to your Station 148,000 Officer XP
The Deep End 160 Travel to Talora, defeat 15 hostiles of level 48 or higher, return to your Station 37,335,000 Tritanium, 6 3 Hour Repair Speed Up
Trust Your Instincts 160 Travel to Kiina, then a choice over whether to follow Maia’s instructions, with both paths ending in a Romulanisch ship fight at about 8,404,033 1 Pattern Disruptor on both paths, plus either 6,000 Latinum or 220 Premium Recruit Token and 211,000 Officer XP

Once you have warp 160 for The Deep End, Trust Your Instincts needs no extra range, but it asks for a much bigger single fight.

Tips

Bring a ship that can chain fights. Fifteen hostiles of level 48 or higher is a long stretch of combat, and the repair speed ups only arrive once the mission is complete.

Do the grind where it suits you. The hostile objective has no system attached in the mission data, so you are not told to stay in Talora for it.

Plan where the Tritanium goes before it lands. A single payout of more than 37 million is easier to put to use if you already know which upgrade is waiting on it.
