Test Procedures is a level 52 KSG side mission in Star Trek Fleet Command where you deal with a pirate incursion. It is picked up in Cypha and needs warp 230 to start and finish. You investigate the threats in Hulman, defeat 20 hostiles of level 52 or higher, and report to Security Chief Y’Nagha in tlhuHwI’. The reward is 80 5★ Uncommon Refined Crystal and a KSG Datapad, plus Klingonenfraktion rewards.
Test Procedures objectives
There are three objectives and no choice split:
- Investigate the threats. Location: Hulman.
- Defeat 20 hostiles of level 52 or higher.
- Return to Security Chief Y’Nagha. Location: tlhuHwI’.
The hostile count is not tied to a system, so any 20 hostiles of level 52 or higher count. That is the bulk of the mission. No named enemy or strength is listed.

Twenty kills at level 52 or higher is the real requirement. It is a grind rather than a single hard fight.

Test Procedures has the largest hostile count of these, and the smallest crystal payout of the three that pay 5★ Uncommon Refined Crystal. Its advantage is simplicity: three steps and no named fight.
Tips
Clear the 20 hostiles around Hulman after you investigate, then make one trip to tlhuHwI’. Checking levels before you engage saves wasted fights on targets below 52.
Bring repair speed ups. Twenty fights in a row will wear a ship down, and there is no station stop in the middle of the mission.
