Start Spreading the News is an end-game Star Trek Fleet Command mission where you hire a band of Corvallen mercenaries to tell Khan about the captive Augment. It starts at warp 1 and needs warp 160 to complete. You meet the Corvallens on Worrum in Kiina, pay them 8M Dilithium and escort their fleet to the border of Augment space at Rigel. The reward is 800 4★ Common Refined Kristall and 100 4★ Ungewöhnlich Refined Crystal. There is no fight, so the cost is Dilithium and travel.
Start Spreading the News objectives
There are four objectives in a fixed order and no choice split:
- Go to the Corvallens on Worrum. Location: Kiina.
- Donate 8M Dilithium to hire mercenaries.
- Escort the mercenary fleet to the borders of Augment space. Location: Rigel.
- Kehren Sie zu Ihrer Station zurück.
Worrum is in the Kiina system. Once the 8M Dilithium is paid, you escort the mercenaries to Rigel and head home. No enemy is listed for the escort.
Wo und welcher Warp
You can accept the mission at warp 1, but it needs warp 160 to finish. Kiina and Rigel are the two systems.
The game lists a recommended level of 1. The warp 160 range and the 8M Dilithium payment are what decide when you can run it.
Start Spreading the News rewards
| Belohnung | Amount |
|---|---|
| 4★ Gewöhnlicher raffinierter Kristall | 800 |
| 4★ Uncommon Refined Crystal | 100 |
Completing it unlocks the next mission, Sollen wir beginnen?
The captive Augment missions
All three need warp 160 and carry a listed level of 1:
| Mission | What stands in your way | Belohnungen |
|---|---|---|
| Der Geist eines Kriegers | 15 hostiles in Yarda, then the Augment’s ship (about 8,452,336) | 4 Joaquin shards, 245,000 Officer XP |
| Verbreiten Sie die Nachricht | 8M Dilithium donation | 800 4★ Common Refined Crystal, 100 4★ Uncommon Refined Crystal |
| Sollen wir beginnen? | Augment Loyalist (about 8,177,045), Augment Enforcer (about 8,404,033) and Khan (about 8,452,336) in Petandria | 1 Khan Noonien Singh shard |
A Warrior’s Mind is where you capture the Augment, and Shall We Begin? is Khan’s reprisal. Start Spreading the News sits between two heavy combat Missionen and has no fight of its own.
Tips
Save 8M Dilithium before you start. The escort cannot begin until the mercenaries are paid.
Use this mission to get ready for Shall We Begin?, which has three fights above 8 million strength back to back. Repair and prepare while you are escorting.
Khan Noonien Singh is also an officer, and his shard is the reward for the next mission. Other missions are on the Missionsleitfaden.
