Lurker is a short Star Trek Fleet Command mission in which you deal with an opportunistic raider that has been preying on mining ships in Deneva. It is picked up in Deneva, needs warp 11 to start and to finish, and has one objective: defeat the Deneva Lurker. The game lists a recommended level of 1. The reward is 3 1★ Survey Parts and an Energy Manifold. It is a single fight, mainly worth doing for the manifest.
Lurker objectives
Es gibt ein Ziel und keine Verzweigung:
- Defeat the Deneva Lurker. Location: Deneva (enemy strength ~11,529).
The Lurker hunts mining ships in Deneva, and the mission ends as soon as you destroy it. There is no travel beyond Deneva, no donation and no return step.
Wo und welcher Warp
Lurker is picked up in Deneva and needs warp 11 to start and warp 11 to complete. The fight takes place in the same system. Warp 11 is the same pickup warp as Neural Network, Distant Suns and Razor, so any ship that runs those can reach the Lurker.
The Deneva Lurker at about 11,529 strength is the real requirement, so bring a ship that can win a fight at that level.
Lurker rewards
| Belohnung | Amount |
|---|---|
| 1★ Survey Parts | 3 |
| Energy Manifold | 1 |
Lurker does not unlock a follow-up mission. Its Energy Manifold is the same reward every Deneva mission below pays, which makes Lurker one of five ways to collect a manifest from this system.
Other missions from Deneva
Deneva hands out several level 1 Missionen, and each pays an Energy Manifold:
| Mission | Warp zum Abschließen | Belohnungen |
|---|---|---|
| Schleicher | 11 | 3 1★ Survey Parts, 1 Energy Manifold |
| Neuronales Netz | 11 | 5,000 Parsteel, 30 1★ Survey Parts, 1 Energy Manifold |
| Ferne Sonnen | 11 | 8,000 Parsteel, 1 Energy Manifold |
| Rasiermesser | 11 | 1 Nächste Generation Data shard, 1 Energy Manifold |
| Bergungsarbeiten | 13 | 1 Hikaru Sulu shard, 250 Federation Points, 1 Energy Manifold |
Lurker pays the least of the group apart from the manifest itself. Neural Network gives ten times the Survey Parts with no fight at all, and Distant Suns and Razor pay Parsteel or an officer shard.
Tips
Run Lurker when you are already in Deneva for the other missions. On its own the reward is small, but the Energy Manifold makes it worth a stop.
Use a combat ship. Unlike Neural Network, Lurker is a straight fight, and a survey ship may struggle against an 11,529 strength raider.
Repair before you head out. There is only one fight, so arriving in Deneva at full health is the whole of the preparation.
The 3 1★ Survey Parts are a token amount. If survey parts are what you are after, Neural Network’s 30 do far more for a survey ship.
