Redemption is a five-part, level 45 mission chain about confidential documents stolen from Section 31. You track the thief across the Romulan border, bring the intel back, defend the Section 31 Control Center and then help the thief, Yorniss, start a new life before deciding what Yorniss deserves. Every part starts at warp 1, and the chain needs warp 120 to complete its first two parts, warp 10 for the middle two and warp 61 for the last. Rewards are resource-heavy, led by 381,334,000 Parsteel, over 76 million Tritanium, 800 Ultra Recruit Tokens and 300 Section 31 Private Ciphers. The big catch is cost: the chain asks for 690M Tritanium and 18M Dilithium in payments.

Redemption Part 1

Someone has stolen confidential Section 31 documents. You investigate the breach at PDC-81, follow a resonance trace to Exchange Beta and buy information from a fuel station owner for 90M Tritanium before crossing into Romulanisch Raum.

  • Investigate the information breach (PDC-81).
  • Follow the trace resonance signature (Austausch Beta).
  • Defeat the thief’s accomplice (Exchange Beta, enemy strength ~8,177,045).
  • Pay 90M Tritanium to the fuel station owner for the info.
  • Cross the Romulan border (Ardaji).

Warp to complete: 120. Rewards: 42,534,000 Tritanium, 42 3 Hour Speed Ups and 155,000 4★ Broken Interceptor Parts.

Redemption Part 2

In Ardaji you retrieve the stolen documents from Romulan territory. This is the most combat-heavy part: two named fights and a 5-hostile grind before you take control of the thief’s vessel.

  • Approach the arrested ship (Ardaji).
  • Breach the Romulan defences (Ardaji, enemy strength ~8,452,336).
  • Defeat 5 hostiles of level 45 or higher.
  • Gain control over the thief’s vessel (Ardaji, enemy strength ~8,177,045).
  • Rückkehr zur Station.

Warp to complete: 120. Rewards: 5,425,000 Dilithium, 15 15 Hour Repair Speed Ups, 200,000 4★ Broken Explorer Parts and 150 Section 31 Private Ciphers.

Redemption Part 3

You return the intel to Section 31 and protect the control center from hostile forces. The defence is a Section 31: Solo Wave Defense near PDC-81, and you spend 18M Dilithium to supercharge the defense systems first.

  • Return the lost Daten to Section 31 (PDC-81).
  • Defeat the scout (PDC-81, enemy strength ~3,358,989).
  • Use 18M Dilithium to supercharge defense systems.
  • Defend Section 31 Control Center (complete Section 31: Solo Wave Defense near the PDC-81 system).

Warp to complete: 10. Rewards: 381,334,000 Parsteel, 19 4 Hour Assignment Speed Ups and 150,000 4★ Broken Battleship Parts.

Redemption Part 4

You help Yorniss find a secure place to start a new life. That means erasing every trace of Yorniss, then asking Georgiou for help in Stellay, which costs 600M Tritanium.

  • Rückkehr zur Station.
  • Destroy any trace of Yorniss (enemy strength ~8,177,045).
  • Ask for Georgiou’s help (Stellay).
  • Get Georgiou 600M Tritanium.
  • Help Yorniss settle down (Stellay).

Warp to complete: 10. Rewards: 34,075,000 Tritanium, 800 Ultra Recruit Tokens, 3 Relocation Tokens and 150 Section 31 Private Ciphers.

Redemption Part 5

A suspicious transmission leads to a second wave defense, this time to protect the Baraam near Stellay. After you find Yorniss, you decide what punishment Yorniss deserves. Both answers pay the same rewards.

  • Decipher a suspicious transmission (Stellay).
  • Defend the Baraam (complete Section 31: Solo Wave Defense near the Stellay system).
  • Find Yorniss (Stellay).
  • Decide what punishment Yorniss deserves.

Path 1: There’s no redemption for Yorniss

  • Defeat Yorniss (Stellay, enemy strength ~8,177,045).

Path 2: Yorniss deserves another chance, but not our help

  • Drop Yorniss at a desolate Independent station (Ain’Tok).

Rewards on either path: 4,960,000 Dilithium, 12 1 Hr Peace Shields, 1 Section 31 Beacon Shard and 120,000 Officer XP.

Warp to complete: 61.

Tips for completing Redemption

Plan the payments before you start. Part 1 costs 90M Tritanium, Part 3 costs 18M Dilithium and Part 4 asks for 600M Tritanium for Georgiou. That last payment is far larger than the Tritanium the chain gives back (about 76.6 million across Parts 1 and 4), so it is the step most likely to hold you up.

The warp needs swing a lot. Parts 1 and 2 go out to warp 120 for Exchange Beta and Ardaji, while Parts 3 and 4 stay within warp 10 and Part 5 needs 61.

Most named fights are listed at about 8.2 to 8.5 million strength, with the scout in Part 3 far weaker at about 3.4 million. Parts 3 and 5 each need a Section 31: Solo Wave Defense cleared, near PDC-81 and near Stellay respectively.

The Part 5 choice has no reward impact. Path 1 adds one more fight against Yorniss, and Path 2 swaps it for a trip to Ain’Tok.

Are the Redemption rewards worth it?

It depends on your Tritanium. The chain pays 381,334,000 Parsteel, 10,385,000 Dilithium, 300 Section 31 Private Ciphers, 800 Ultra Recruit Tokens and a Section 31 Beacon Shard, plus large stacks of 4★ Broken parts. Against that, the 690M Tritanium in payments is a net loss on Tritanium even after the chain’s own Tritanium rewards. If you can afford the Georgiou payment, the Parsteel alone makes it worthwhile. For other level 45 missions, see the STFC mission guide.
