Pay It Forward is a level 70 mission in Star Trek Fleet Command in which Ven asks you to help a ship of Thalloran refugees who have just come through a surge from their own dimension. It is picked up in Oraalen and needs warp 1,550 to start and to complete. There is one fight at about 3.4 trillion strength and a 5K Σ-Tritanium donation. The reward is modest: 12,000 Σ-Tritanium, 40,000 Σ-Parsteel and seven 12 Hour Assignment Speed Ups, with no Fraktionsruf involved.
Pay It Forward objectives
Ven explains that the new arrivals come from the same dimension as Ven, that they are not Surgewalkers, and that they will need help adjusting to the Margins. By the time you reach Alvolea, a local Aeonian ship is already giving them trouble. There is no choice split:
- Track down the refugee ship in Alvolea.
- Open a line of communication in Alvolea.
- Intervene in the fight in Alvolea (enemy strength ~3,423,395,691,968).
- Donate 5K Σ-Tritanium for repairs.
- Bring the refugees to a nearby colony in Uyama.
- Follow the lead in Uyama.
Aheru, the Aeonian captain, calls the newcomers trespassers and opens fire. Once you drive the Aeonians off, the refugee ship’s engines are offline, which is where your Σ-Tritanium comes in. The captain, Ilhan, is searching for a missing fleet from the Fold, and in the Uyama colony he finds his sibling Irla, whose crew came through safely. Ven asks for nothing in return except that Ilhan help the next arrivals.

The mission starts in Oraalen and needs warp 1,550 both to start and to finish. The fight and the repairs happen in Alvolea, and the ending plays out at the colony in Uyama. The recommended level is 70.

All four also give 1 Gravimetric Data. Outage and Altered Genome pay far more, so run those first if you only have time for a few.
Tips
The donation is tiny. At 5K Σ-Tritanium it is less than half of the 12,000 Σ-Tritanium the mission pays back, so you finish ahead on that resource.
The Aeonian ship at about 3.4 trillion strength is the only fight, and it is light for level 70. A ship that clears other Margins missions at this warp should have no trouble.
