New Life I is the first of three New Life missions in Star Trek Fleet Command, recommended for level 50. You assist in the research of a unique new species, a bacteria found on a planet in tlhuHwI’. It is picked up in tlhuHwI’ and needs warp 185 to start and finish. There are two steps and no fights. The reward is a 5★ Gemeinsame Interceptor Parts drop and a KSG Datapad, and it unlocks New Life II.
New Life I objectives
There are two objectives and no choice split:
- Investigate the planet. Location: tlhuHwI’.
- Bring a sample of the bacteria to your Station.
The investigation happens in the pickup system, so there is no travel to plan beyond going home. No hostile is listed. The sample you bring back is the start of the research that runs through the next two parts: tests at Oja’s lab in New Life II, then containing the bacteria’s spread in New Life III.

The pickup system is tlhuHwI’, and warp 185 covers the mission. The recommended level is 50.
With no combat and one system, the warp 185 range is the only requirement.

All three are recommended for level 50. Part I is the short one and the only one that pays a KSG Datapad; Parts II and III each carry a resource cost.
Tips
This is one of the fastest ways to earn a KSG Datapad. KSG hand-ins such as Let Me In ask for five and Gathering Daten for three, and New Life I needs only two steps.
Missing Inventory I is also picked up in tlhuHwI’ and also pays a KSG Datapad, so the two pair well. Missing Inventory I needs warp 205 and has a hostile grind, so do New Life I first while you are in the system.
