Wrong Foot Forward is a late story mission in Star Trek Fleet Command that sends you to investigate a distress signal in Hilo. It opens at warp 1 but needs warp 120 to complete. The game lists a recommended level of 1, but warp 120 and a Hunter Leader at roughly 2.7 million strength are the real bar. The reward is 350 Klingonisch Recruit Tokens and 700 4★ Common Refined Kristall, a good haul for anyone already flying at that range.
Wrong Foot Forward objectives
Es gibt fünf Ziele und keine Verzweigung:
- Investigate the disturbance in Hilo. Location: Hilo.
- Defeat 7 hostiles of level 43 or higher.
- Defeat the Klingon Hunter. Location: Hilo. Enemy strength is roughly 912,580.
- Defeat the Hunter Leader. Location: Hilo. Enemy strength is roughly 2,726,322.
- Ziehen Sie sich auf Ihre Station zurück.
The disturbance in Hilo opens the mission. The second objective is open-ended: any seven hostiles of level 43 or higher count, and no system is named for them. After that the fighting returns to Hilo, first against the Klingon Hunter and then the Hunter Leader. The last step is a retreat to your station.
Wo und welcher Warp
No pickup system is listed. The mission is available from warp 1, but completing it takes warp 120, which is what the trip to Hilo demands.
The game lists a recommended level of 1. That figure says little here. A ship needs warp 120 to reach Hilo at all, and the Hunter Leader is one of the stronger scripted fights in this part of the story.
Wrong Foot Forward rewards
| Belohnung | Amount |
|---|---|
| Klingon Recruit Token | 350 |
| 4★ Gewöhnlicher raffinierter Kristall | 700 |
Completing it unlocks the next mission, Blutdurst.
How it compares with the missions around it
Wrong Foot Forward sits between Söhne von Vulkan and Bloodthirst. All three list a recommended level of 1 and all three are high-warp Missionen:
| Mission | Warp zum Abschließen | Scripted fights | Belohnungen |
|---|---|---|---|
| Söhne von Vulkan | 110 | Bandit (~3,358,989) | 63,000,000 Parsteel, 129,000 Officer XP |
| Falscher Fuß vorwärts | 120 | Klingon Hunter (~912,580), Hunter Leader (~2,726,322) | 350 Klingon Recruit Token, 700 4★ Common Refined Crystal |
| Blutdurst | 95 | Klingon Hunter (~912,580), Vulcan (~1,950,820) | 10,890,000 Tritanium, 7 3 Hour Repair Speed Up |
Wrong Foot Forward has the highest warp of the three. Its Hunter Leader is weaker than the bandit in Sons of Vulcan but stronger than anything in Bloodthirst, and it is the only one of the three with an open hostile-kill objective.
The Klingon Hunter at about 912,580 strength shows up again in Bloodthirst, so if you beat it here, the same fight in the next mission should hold no surprises.
Tips
Do the seven level 43 hostiles on the way. Any hostile at level 43 or higher counts, so you can clear them near Hilo before taking on the scripted fights rather than making a separate trip.
Repair before the Hunter Leader. It is three times the strength of the Klingon Hunter, and the two fights come back to back in Hilo.
The 350 Klingon Recruit Tokens are the reward to plan around if you are building a Klingon officer roster. The 700 4★ Common Refined Crystal goes toward upgrades that call for 4★ materials.
Previous mission: Sons of Vulcan. Next mission: Bloodthirst. Other missions sorted by level are on the Missionsleitfaden.
