Eavesdropping is a Klingon-space mission in Star Trek Fleet Command where you help the Gorn gather intelligence on Suliban movements. You pick up a signal booster from Wezam in Beta Penthe, place it in May’lang and destroy a Suliban scout there. It is picked up in Ok’Vak at warp 31 and needs warp 33 to complete. The game lists a recommended level of 1, and the reward is 1,100,000 Parsteel, a large Parsteel payout for three objectives.
Eavesdropping objectives

- Pick up the signal booster from Wezam. Location: Beta Penthe.
- Place the signal booster in May’lang. Location: May’lang.
- Destroy the Suliban scout. Location: May’lang. Enemy strength is roughly 293,839.
The booster run comes first, and the Suliban scout turns up once the booster is in place. Destroying the scout completes the mission, with no return trip listed. Beta Penthe is also where the prison colony of Rura Penthe sits, the destination of the Klingon mission Exil.
Wo und welcher Warp
Eavesdropping is only offered in Ok’Vak, and you need warp 31 to accept it. Warp 33 covers the rest of the route through Beta Penthe and May’lang.
The listed recommended level is 1. The Suliban scout at about 294,000 strength is the real test, so bring a ship that handles fights in that range.
The game lists Klingonisch Patrols and Klingon Fighters in all three systems, plus Klingon Elite Assassins in Ok’Vak and Beta Penthe and Kriosian Rebels in May’lang. Levels run from 28 to 37. None of them are mission targets.

Turncoat pays the most of the three. Eavesdropping is the only one that needs warp 33, because of the detour to Beta Penthe.
Tips
Take all three Ok’Vak missions together if your warp range allows it. They share a pickup system and pay a combined 3.48 million Parsteel, and only Eavesdropping needs the extra two warp for Beta Penthe.
Repair before you place the booster. The Suliban scout fight follows right after it, and the Klingon hostiles along the way can wear down a ship that picks fights on the trip.
