In Position is a level 17 story mission in Star Trek Fleet Command about finding a new home for your station. You scout three candidate systems, Skyedark, Eizeb and Zeta Polis, return to your station and then move it to a system of level 15 or higher. The mission starts at warp 1 and needs warp 13 to complete. The reward is 15,000 Parsteel, 50 2★ Survey Parts and 5,000 Officer XP. It is the mission that asks you to relocate, so read the last objective before you begin.

In Position objectives

Es gibt fünf Ziele und keine Verzweigung:

  • Scout out a new home system for the Station. Location: Skyedark.
  • Scout the Eizeb system. Location: Eizeb.
  • Scout the Zeta Polis system. Location: Zeta Polis.
  • Rückkehr zum Bahnhof.
  • Move Station to a system of Level 15 or higher.

The first three steps are scouting trips, one to each candidate system. After the tour you head home, and the final objective asks you to actually move your station into a system of level 15 or higher. The mission does not require you to pick one of the three scouted systems; any system that meets the level requirement counts.

Wo und welcher Warp

In Position has no pickup system and starts at warp 1. You need warp 13 to complete it, which covers the scouting run through Skyedark, Eizeb and Zeta Polis.

The recommended level is 17, one higher than the mission before it.

In Position rewards

Belohnung Amount
Parsteel 15,000
2★ Survey Parts 50
Officer XP 5,000

Completing the mission unlocks the next one in the chain.

In Position and neighbouring missions

The mission before this is Tresorräume, where you build the Parsteel Vault to protect your resources. The mission after is Outlaws, where you round up the local Boslic Slaver groups.

Mission Recommended level Warp zum Abschließen Belohnungen
Tresorräume 16 1 30,000 Parsteel
In Position 17 13 15,000 Parsteel, 50 2★ Survey Parts, 5,000 Officer XP
Outlaws 17 1 300 2★ Common Refined Kristall

In Position is the only one of the three that needs any real warp. Vaults and Outlaws both complete at warp 1.

Tips

Decide where you want to live before you reach the last step. The objective accepts any system of level 15 or higher, so the three scouting stops are a suggestion rather than a restriction.

Think about where you mine and fight before you move. A station close to the systems you use most saves travel time on every trip afterwards.

No hostiles are listed anywhere in the mission, so any ship with warp 13 can do the scouting. For other missions around level 17, see the STFC mission guide.
