Homefront is a Borg Arc 2 story mission in Star Trek Fleet Command where you transport a prisoner to a Vulcan base and deal with the fallout. The game lists a recommended level of 1; it starts at warp 1 and needs warp 18 to complete. There are no scripted fights, but it asks for 450,000 Dilithium and 2,800 Inert Nanoprobes, and it ends in a choice between Federation and Premium recruit tokens. Both paths pay 30 Latinum. Finishing it unlocks The Parent of Fear.
Homefront objectives
The first seven steps are shared:
- Bring the spy to a Vulcan base. Location: Vulcan.

Which choice to pick
The only difference is the recruit tokens. Giving the information to the Vulcans pays 500 Federation Recruit Tokens. Hiding it pays 150 Premium Recruit Tokens.
If you are building a Federation crew, the larger stack of Federation Recruit Tokens is the obvious pick. If Premium Recruit Tokens are what you are saving, the hide path pays them instead, though at 150 it is a much smaller stack.

Ripples in a Pond opens this storyline and We Do What We Must comes right before Homefront. Homefront has the lowest warp requirement of the three but the biggest resource cost.
Tips
Gather the Inert Nanoprobes ahead of time. The collection step has no location, so you can build up the 2,800 while working on the earlier Missionen.
Bank 450,000 Dilithium before you reach the Vulcan base. The donation is the second objective, right after you deliver the spy. Other missions sorted by level are on the Missionsleitfaden.
