Generational Trauma is a level 64 story mission in Star Trek Fleet Command in which the Enterprise-E arrives at your station. It needs only warp 1 to start and to complete and has two objectives: meet the Enterprise-E, then bring it to your station. There is no fight. The reward is 330 Σ-Dilithium and 89,000 Raw Σ-Dilithium, and finishing it unlocks Thin Lines of Grey. It is a short bridge between the rescue of the Commander and the murder investigation that follows.
Generational Trauma objectives
There are two objectives in a fixed order and no choice split:
- Meet with the Enterprise-E.
- Bringen Sie die Unternehmen to your Station.
Neither objective names a system. The mission opens with the Commander coming round after the events of Never Forget. Howards reports that vital signs are green and credits Toryn, who calls the Commander an old friend and says the galaxy coming apart at the seams was enough to pull him out of retirement. Maia thanks him for helping to bring the Commander back from that nightmare.
Howards then picks up a Starfleet ship coming out of warp: the Enterprise. Jean-Luc Picard has detected a large build-up of tachyonic radiation in the sector and asks whether you know anything about it. Maia admits you have been somewhat distracted, and Picard has Daten scan your station. While Data collates the results, Picard asks for your help with a critical matter, which leads into the next mission.
Wo und welcher Warp
No pickup system is listed, and both the start and completion warp are 1. The recommended level is 64. Any ship can do this, since neither step involves combat.

Generational Trauma is the smallest payout of the three, but it is also the quickest to finish. Thin Lines of Grey is where the warp jumps to 1,250.
Tips
Clear it whenever you are at the station; there is no travel to plan. Use the time to get a ship with warp 1,250 ready for Thin Lines of Grey, where Picard’s critical matter turns out to be a series of grisly murders.
If you want to fly the ship yourself, the USS Enterprise-E has its own page. The Σ resources guide covers the Σ-Dilithium, and more missions by level are on the mission guide.
