Fragile Alliances is a three-part mission chain about finding allies for the fight against the Borg and the Node. You answer Starfleet distress calls, set up an alliance with Gul Terket’s Cardassians, then join a Klingon or a Romulanisch operation. All parts are recommended for level 51 and start from Der Weltraum Nine in the Bajor system. Part 2 is the longest trip in the chain at warp 255 and carries a 3B Parsteel donation. The finale pays 5 Nog shards on either path.

Fragile Alliances Part 1
The search for allies starts with two Starfleet distress signals. You clear a Node ship in Hilltara, then face a Borg Probe and a second Borg attack in Hysperia before reporting back to Deep Space Nine.

Fragile Alliances Part 2
Gul Terket is the first potential ally. You introduce yourself in Romero 9, oversee the Cardassian arrival in Achilas and pay for station repairs, then defend a second station in Lexum from the Node and the Borg.

Fragile Alliances Part 3
To widen the alliance, you report to Deep Space Nine and pick an operation to join alongside Gul Terket.

Warp to complete: 120. You can help the Klingonen in Dohrmas or the Romulans in Caerulum. Each path has one fight and one donation, and both pay 5 Nog shards.
Help the Klingons
- Join Gul Terket in Dohrmas.

Tips for completing Fragile Alliances
Part 2 needs the most preparation. It runs to warp 255, asks for 12 hostiles of level 51 or higher, and requires 3B Parsteel to repair the Cardassian station in Achilas. Two fights in Lexum follow, against the Node (about 17.2 million strength) and then the Borg (about 17.9 million).
Part 1 is three fights in two systems. The Node ship in Hilltara is listed at about 17.2 million, and the two Hysperia fights at about 17.9 and 17.6 million come back to back.
The Part 3 choice comes down to your stores and your timers. The Klingon path asks for 500M Tritanium, fights a Borg Cube (about 17.6 million) and pays 10 × 1 Day Speed Up. The Romulan path asks for 8M Dilithium, fights a Node Sphere (about 17.2 million) and pays 10 × 1 Day Repair Speed Up.
Are the Fragile Alliances rewards worth it?
For outpost progress and Nog, yes, though Part 2 is expensive. The chain pays 5 Nog shards, 375 Gemeinsame and 200 Rare Outpost Control Cores, 150 Solo Outpost Strike Directives, 150 Elite Solo Outpost Strike Directives, 3,750 Solo Outpost Credits, 3,750 Elite Solo Outpost Credits, 1,250 Outpost Retaliation Medals, 300 Retaliation Plunder, 120,000 Material Fragments and components in four grades.
