Federation Devotion is a Galaxy research that amplifies Federation reputation changes while you fly a Federation ship, from 5% at level 1 to 50% at level 10. It unlocks at R&D Department 27. The catch is in the plus-minus: it raises reputation losses as well as gains.
What Federation Devotion does
While you are in a Föderation ship, every Federation reputation change is amplified by the listed percentage, in both directions. Grinding positive rep, you climb up to 50% faster. Doing things the Federation dislikes, you fall faster too. It is a loyalty multiplier, not a free bonus.
