It is picked up in Barnard’s Star, needs warp 40 to start and to finish, and lists a recommended level of 1. The fight in the middle is against a Romulan Centurion at about 2,027,939 strength. The ending you choose pays either 5,460,000 Tritanium or 37,128,000 Parsteel.

Both paths are a single delivery after the choice, so neither is longer or harder than the other. The difference is where you fly and what you get paid.

The mission is picked up in Barnard’s Star, and warp 40 is listed both to start and to complete. The work happens in Nelvana, where the facility and the Centurion are, and the delivery goes to either Barnard’s Star or Thama depending on your choice.
The recommended level is 1, but that number is misleading. A Romulan Centurion at around 2 million strength is a serious fight, and it is the part of the mission that decides when you can realistically finish it.

Tips
Bring your strongest combat ship. The Romulan Centurion in Nelvana sits at roughly 2,027,939 strength, far above what the level 1 recommendation suggests. Check your ship’s strength against that number before you commit, since the mission cannot move on until the Centurion is beaten.
Choose by the resource you are short of, not by the raw number. Enyala’s 37,128,000 Parsteel is the bigger figure, but if Tritanium is what is holding up your next upgrade, Hector’s 5,460,000 Tritanium may be the more useful payout.
Doctor Hector’s delivery goes back to Barnard’s Star, the same system where you picked the mission up. Doctor Enyala’s delivery is in Thama instead, so pick the route that ends closer to where you want your ship afterward.
If the Centurion leaves your ship badly damaged, repair before the delivery. The last step has no fight in it, so a short stop to repair does not put the mission at any risk.
