Comeuppance is a single Ex-Borg story mission in Star Trek Fleet Command, recommended for level 42. Phara asks you to persuade Talut, a reclusive Romulanisch Ex-Borg, to visit the Ex-Borg community in Ch’urux Qorva. Talut agrees only if you help him settle a score with Rojun, the commander who left him behind for the Borg. You pick it up in Ch’urux Qorva at warp 49 and need warp 75 to complete it. Both endings pay 50,000 Officer XP and 400 Ultra Recruit Tokens, plus either Parsteel or Dilithium.
Comeuppance objectives
The first four steps are shared, then the mission splits:
- Make your way to Romulan space. Location: Tolain.
- Hail the Romulan Ex-Borg. Location: Tolain.
- Disable Talut’s weapons. Location: Tolain. Enemy strength about 3.36 million.
- Find Talut’s commanding officer. Location: Corvidae.
- Decide whether Rojun lives (choice split, see below).
Talut greets you with a threat of assimilation and charges weapons, so you disable them before he will talk. He then explains what Rojun did: when the Borg boarded their ship, Rojun had Talut run the evacuation, knowing there were not enough escape pods for everyone. Talut was left on the bridge and assimilated.
Path 1: kill him
- Destroy Rojun’s ship. Location: Corvidae. Enemy strength about 3.49 million.
- Bring Talut to the Ex-Borg. Location: Ch’urux Qorva.
Rewards: 50,000 Officer XP, 25,000,000 Parsteel, 400 Ultra Recruit Tokens.
Path 2: let him live
- Disable Rojun’s ship. Location: Corvidae. Enemy strength about 3.49 million.
- Bring Talut to the Ex-Borg. Location: Ch’urux Qorva.
Rewards: 50,000 Officer XP, 5,000,000 Dilithium, 400 Ultra Recruit Tokens.
On Path 1, Talut gets his justice and admits he feels only empty. On Path 2, you refuse to be a gun for hire; Talut settles for leaving Rojun stranded and swears he will kill him if they meet again. Either way, Talut comes to Ch’urux Qorva and Phara expects he will stay.

You pick up the mission in Ch’urux Qorva, which needs warp 49. Completing it needs warp 75, the range for Tolain and Corvidae. The recommended level is 42.
There are two fights on either path: Talut in Tolain and Rojun in Corvidae, both around 3.4 to 3.5 million strength.

Tips
Choose by resource. The fights, travel and ending are the same on both paths, so the only practical difference is 25 million Parsteel against 5 million Dilithium.
Talut’s first fight is about disabling, not destroying, but it is still a combat step at around 3.36 million strength. Send a combat ship rather than a miner.
