Bare Bones is a level 28 Augment story mission in Star Trek Fleet Command where you confront Khan. The meeting in Fulriit turns into a fight with a Mutineer at roughly 154,890 strength, after which you head home. It needs warp 22 to complete and has only three objectives. The reward is a solid resource bundle of 723,000 Parsteel, 107,000 Tritanium and 22,000 Dilithium, and it unlocks the next mission in the storyline. It is one of the quicker steps in this run of Khan and Mudd Missionen.
Bare Bones objectives
Three objectives, no choice split:
- Confront Khan. Location: Fulriit.
- Defeat the Mutineer. Location: Fulriit. Enemy strength is roughly 154,890.
- Kehren Sie zu Ihrer Station zurück.
You find Khan in Fulriit, and the confrontation brings out a Mutineer at around 155,000 strength. Beat it, then return to your station to complete the mission. There is no kill count and no donation.
Wo und welcher Warp
There is no pickup system and the mission can be accepted from warp 1. Completing it needs warp 22 to reach Fulriit. The recommended level is 28, which lines up with the Mutineer’s strength.
Fulriit is the only system named, so the run is a single out-and-back trip. You finish docked at your station, which makes it easy to repair before starting the next mission.

Bare Bones pays the most Parsteel and Tritanium of the four by a wide margin and asks for the lowest warp. Its Mutineer is almost identical to the one in Window Shopping, so a ship that won there is ready here. Window Shopping is also the only one of the four with a donation, 125,000 Dilithium, which this mission’s 22,000 Dilithium only partly repays.
Tips
Use the same combat ship through this whole stretch. Every fight from Window Shopping to All the Money in the World sits between about 133,000 and 155,000 strength.
Spend the Tritanium on station upgrades. At this level, 107,000 Tritanium is a useful boost, and the missions after this one pay mostly Dilithium and speed ups instead.
