Amalgam is a five-part Star Trek Fleet Command mission chain built around Glibnar and a plot against the Cardassians. It opens with a distress signal a single warp from your station, sends you raiding supply ships in Klingon and Romulanisch space, and ends with Gul Nishe on the way to a prison cell. The chain is recommended for level 31, warp to complete peaks at 26, and every part starts at warp 1. Rewards include 500 Amalgam Parts, 450 Premium Recruit Tokens, more than 9 million Parsteel, Dilithium, Latinum, and 3★ Survey Parts. It is well worth running for the tokens and parts.

Amalgam Teil 1

Warp to complete: 1. Recommended level 31.

Each part unlocks the next once you finish it, so Amalgam is played in order from Part 1 to Part 5.
Amalgam Teil 2
Part 2 sends you to disrupt supply lines in Klingon and Romulan space, so the warp jumps sharply here. You hit one supply ship in each faction’s territory, first in Rekar and then in Kus’Rok.

- Defeat a Romulan Supply Ship of level 31 or higher.

Amalgam Teil 3
You report to Glibnar’s boss in Fyrsta, the meeting turns hostile, and you fight your way out against the Cardassian Gul Nishe, who drives the rest of the story. The game lists this part at recommended level 1, but it reaches warp 23 and asks for ten hostiles of level 31 or higher, so plan for it like the rest of the chain.

- Defend yourself from Gul Nishe. (Fyrsta)
- Besiegen Sie 10 Feinde der Stufe 31 oder höher.

Amalgam Teil 4
Glibnar wants revenge on the Cardassians, and the mission asks whether to turn them over to the Klingons or the Romulans. The two paths send you to different allies and different targets, but the rewards are the same, so the choice comes down to which systems are easier for you to reach.
- Besprechen Sie Ihren Aktionsplan.
- Choose whether to turn the Cardassians over to the Klingons or the Romulans.
Warp to complete: 26. Recommended level 31.

The chain ends with turning the Cardassians in. You head to Amok’tal, clear hostiles, take Gul Nishe captive, and escort your prisoners to a prison. Part 5 exists in two versions that differ only in which prison you deliver to and the warp needed. The objectives before that and the rewards are identical.

Tips for completing Amalgam
Warp range is the thing to plan for. Part 1 sits a single jump from your station, but Parts 2 through 5 all reach into the mid-20s (24, 23, 26, and 25 or 26), so fit a warp range that can get you that far before you start Part 2.
Every combat objective calls for level 31 or higher targets, from the 652,792-strength ship in Part 1 to the supply ships in Parts 2 and 4 and the hostile sweeps in Parts 3 and 5. Bring a combat ship crewed to beat level 31 enemies. Parts 3 and 5 each ask for ten hostiles on top of their story fights, so top up repairs before you head to Fyrsta and Amok’tal.
The 4 Hr Peace Shield from Part 1 is handy if you want to run the later parts without being attacked while you travel. The hostile kills in Parts 3 and 5 do not name a system, so you can clear them wherever level 31 targets are easiest to find.
In Part 4, pick the path whose systems are easier for you to reach: H’Atoria for the Martok path, which targets Romulan supply ships, or Lempo for the Tomalak path, which targets Klingon supply ships. The rewards do not change.
The Amalgam Parts total 500 across Parts 1, 4, and 5. If you are working toward the Amalgam, a 3★ survey ship, this chain is a large source of progress. Find more chains in the STFC mission guide.
Are the Amalgam rewards worth it?
Yes. The standout drops are the 500 Amalgam Parts and the 450 Premium Recruit Tokens from Part 3. On top of those you collect 9,432,000 Parsteel, 1,260,000 Tritanium, 133,000 Dilithium, 1,400 Latinum, 280 3★ Survey Parts, 16 three-hour speed ups, and a peace shield. For a level 31 chain that stays inside a warp 26 radius, that is a strong payout, and the combat is manageable if your ship can beat level 31 targets.
