Battle Arena is a Star Trek Fleet Command mission where you prove your battle prowess to a rogue Gorn by defeating 15 hostile ships of level 30 or higher. It is picked up in Tejat or Afritalis and needs warp 22 to start and to complete. The game lists a recommended level of 1, but the level 30 hostiles are the real requirement. The reward is 103,000 Parsteel, 6,000 Officer XP and a 15 Minute Repair Speed Up.
Battle Arena objectives
One objective, no choice split:
- Defeat 15 hostile ships of Level 30 or higher.
No system is attached to the objective, so any level 30 or higher hostile counts wherever you find it. There is no named boss and no donation.
Where and what warp
Battle Arena is picked up in Tejat or Afritalis and needs warp 22 to start and to complete.
The recommended level is listed as 1. Your ship has to beat fifteen hostiles of at least level 30, so judge readiness by that.
The objective has no location, so you can fight wherever level 30 hostiles are thickest. There is no return trip either: the mission completes on the fifteenth kill.
Battle Arena rewards
| Reward | Amount |
|---|---|
| Parsteel | 103,000 |
| Officer XP | 6,000 |
| 15 Minute Repair Speed Up | 1 |
Battle Arena is a standalone mission with no follow-up.
Battle Arena and A Colossus Lost
The same two systems offer a second Gorn-themed mission, and the two fit together well.
| Mission | Pickup | Warp | Objectives | Rewards |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Battle Arena | Tejat, Afritalis | 22 | 15 hostiles of level 30+ | 103,000 Parsteel, 6,000 Officer XP, 1 15 Minute Repair Speed Up |
| A Colossus Lost | Tejat, Afritalis | 22 | 10 hostiles of level 30+, then Arven the Champion in Tejat | 680,000 Parsteel and 36,000 Officer XP across its two objectives |
Both count level 30 or higher hostiles, so if you accept them together, the kills you make can go toward both counts at once. A Colossus Lost pays far more, but adds a champion fight at about 294,000 strength.
Tips
Hostiles above level 30 also count, but they hit harder and take longer to beat. Staying at or just above level 30 is usually the quickest way through the fifteen.
Fifteen kills takes time. Look for a system with plenty of level 30 hostiles close together, so you are not flying between targets.
Repair between groups of fights rather than pushing on damaged. The single 15 Minute Repair Speed Up in the reward will not cover much, so plan your own repair time.
