Azinjen Warrior

The Azinjen Warrior is a level 63 hostile in Star Trek Fleet Command that patrols exactly two systems, Faroon and Stateside, both at warp 1100. It spawns as an Explorer and as an Interceptor, so you can pick the hull your strongest ship counters: a Battleship handles the Explorer version and an Explorer handles the Interceptor version. Every kill drops 6★ Broken Survey Parts plus the broken parts matching the hull you destroyed. The Azinjen are not from the Star Trek shows; they are one of the game’s own hostile groups.

How to beat the Azinjen Warrior

Combat in STFC runs on a simple rock-paper-scissors: Interceptors beat Battleships, Battleships beat Explorers, and Explorers beat Interceptors. The Azinjen Warrior spawns as two of those hulls, which lets you choose your matchup. Against the Explorer version, bring a Battleship. Against the Interceptor version, bring an Explorer. Both variants share the same systems and the same level, so fly in with whichever counter ship is stronger in your fleet and hunt that variant only. At the damage numbers this hostile puts out, the class bonus is not a nicety; it is the difference between a clean kill and a repair bill.

For crew, follow the standard anti-hostile formula: a captain whose ability raises weapon damage against hostiles, backed by officers that add damage or cut what comes back at you. At level 63 the early cadet crews are long outgrown, so build from the strongest hostile-hunting officers you own. For current picks by roster depth, see our officer tier list. Crews shift with the meta, so treat any named combination as a starting point rather than a permanent answer.

Where to find the Azinjen Warrior

This is a deep-space target. Both spawn systems sit at warp 1100, far past mid-game engines, so the Azinjen Warrior is a late-game hunt by definition. There is no lower-level version to practice on; level 63 in Faroon and Stateside is the entire footprint. The upside of such a small range is that farming routes are short, with both systems holding both hull variants.

Rewards and what it drops

The drop table is all 6★ salvage. Both variants pay out 6★ Broken Survey Parts at 1,526 to 1,866 per kill, which is worth knowing because you collect them here without hunting a Survey hostile. On top of that, each variant drops the broken parts for its own class: the Explorer version pays 3,052 to 3,731 Broken Explorer Parts per kill, and the Interceptor version pays the same range in Broken Interceptor Parts. Every kill also grants 21,300 ship XP.

Drop What it is
6★ Broken Survey Parts Salvage used to tier up 6-star Survey-class ships (drops from both variants)
6★ Broken Explorer Parts Salvage used to tier up 6-star Explorer-class ships (Explorer variant only)
6★ Broken Interceptor Parts Salvage used to tier up 6-star Interceptor-class ships (Interceptor variant only)

Azinjen Warrior stats

Stats vary by hull variant, and at this level the totals are enormous. The anchor row below comes from the Explorer version’s record; expect the Interceptor version to differ in shape but not in scale. Note the pool sizes: more than 8 billion combined hull and shield HP makes this a fight for a properly tiered endgame ship, not a borderline one.

Level Total strength Hull HP Shield HP Attack Defense Ship XP
63 6,824,725,679 3,354,404,601 5,031,606,900 2,305,079,948 326,639,980 21,300

Azinjen Warrior firing pattern

The Warrior runs two weapon groups. Three energy weapons fire every round for a steady stream of damage, and a single kinetic weapon lands every other round for roughly double the per-shot punch. That alternating kinetic slug is the spike to plan around: mitigation and officer abilities that blunt burst damage earn their keep on the rounds it fires. The figures below come straight from the level 63 record.

Weapon type Count Damage per shot Fires Crit
Energy 3 80,074,070–97,868,307 Every round 10% (1.8x)
Kinetic 1 160,148,139–195,736,614 Every other round 10% (1.8x)

Is the Azinjen Warrior worth grinding?

Yes, if your engines can reach it. A single level 63 spawn pool in two warp-1100 systems makes the Azinjen Warrior a specialist target, but the payout is unusual: 6★ Survey parts on every kill, plus Explorer or Interceptor parts on top, all from one hostile. If your 6-star ship tiers are gated on broken parts, this is an efficient stop. One practical tip: decide which class parts you need first, then hunt only the variant that drops them, with the ship that counters it.
