Attack Formation is a Federation mission in Star Trek Fleet Command. The Andorian Imperial Guard is preparing for an Arkonian assault in the Noakyn system, and you help them hold it. The game lists a recommended level of 1, but it is picked up in P’Jem at warp 20 and needs warp 30 to complete. Two Arkonian fights stand between you and 8 8 Hour Speed Ups plus Federation Credits and reputation. It unlocks The Wall of Heroes.
Attack Formation objectives
Four objectives, no choice split:
- Enter the Noakyn system. Location: Noakyn.
- Defeat the Arkonian scout. Location: Noakyn (enemy strength about 133,020).
- Destroy the Arkonian warship. Location: Noakyn (enemy strength about 200,351).
- Return to Andoria Prime. Location: Andoria.
You fly into Noakyn, take out the scout first and then the warship. With the Arkonians driven off, you report back at Andoria Prime. The Andorian Imperial Guard is the side you fight for, and the story line frames the whole mission as getting ahead of the assault before it lands.
Where and what warp
Attack Formation is picked up in P’Jem and needs warp 20 to start. Warp 30 is needed to complete it.
The recommended level is 1. The Arkonian warship at about 200,000 strength is the fight that tells you whether you are ready.
The route is P’Jem to Noakyn, then Noakyn to Andoria. Both fights are in Noakyn, so there is only one combat stop.

Cataclysm also works in Noakyn and ends at Andoria Prime, so the two missions share a route and are easy to run in the same session.
Tips
Repair after the scout if the fight was close. The warship is about half again as strong, and it comes straight after.
This is the first mission in its short chain, so nothing has to be done before you can pick it up in P’Jem. That also means it is a good entry point if you are new to the Andorian storyline.
The 8 Hour Speed Ups add up to 64 hours, which is best saved for a long building or research timer. The reputation hit falls mostly on the Klingons.
