The Cowardly is a late-game Star Trek Fleet Command mission where you bring another Senator home. It starts at warp 1 and needs warp 120 to complete. You search for the Senator in Imada, track them to Harrizon, clear 20 hostiles, defeat a Suliban Officer in Er’Tama and deliver the Senator to Alycen. The reward is 800 4★ Common and 130 4★ Uncommon Interceptor Parts, 600 Romulan Credits and 448,000 Romulan Points, with a loss of 483,840 Federation Points.
The Cowardly objectives
There are six objectives in a fixed order and no choice split:
- Search for the Senator. Location: Imada.
- Track down the Senator. Location: Harrizon.
- Defeat 20 Hostiles of Level 44 or higher.
- Follow the Senator. Location: Er’Tama.
- Defeat the Suliban Officer. Location: Er’Tama. Enemy strength is about 6,389,135.
- Bring the Senator home. Location: Alycen.
The Senator keeps moving, so the mission is a chase across four systems. The 20 hostiles have no system set. The Suliban Officer in Er’Tama is the one named fight, and after that you escort the Senator to Alycen.
Where and what warp
You can accept The Cowardly at warp 1, but it needs warp 120 to finish. Imada, Harrizon, Er’Tama and Alycen are the four systems.
The game lists a recommended level of 1. The real requirements are a ship rated for warp 120, 20 kills at level 44 or higher and a fight at about 6.4 million strength.

The Weak, the mission before, pays 374,000 Romulan Points and takes 394,944 Federation Points. The Cowardly and The Brittle each pay 448,000 and take 483,840. The Cowardly is the hardest of the three by a wide margin.
Tips
Check your warp. Every stop is inside the warp 120 range, and the mission crosses four systems.
Clear the 20 hostiles before you follow the Senator to Er’Tama, then repair. The Suliban Officer at about 6.4 million strength needs your best ship at full health.
