The Art of Ruin is a late-game Star Trek Fleet Command mission in the Arkonian revolution story, where you launch an assault on the rebels’ base. It starts at warp 1 and needs warp 110 to complete. You find the base in Het’Tenz’A, clear 20 hostiles of level 44 or higher, defeat an Arkonian Battleship and the Rebel leader, then report to Kang on Kronos. The reward is 900 4★ Common Battleship Parts, 900 4★ Common Explorer Parts, 600 Klingon Credits and 311,000 Klingon Points, with a loss of 427,936 Romulan Points.
The Art of Ruin objectives
There are five objectives in a fixed order and no choice split:
- Find the rebel base. Location: Het’Tenz’A.
- Defeat 20 hostiles of level 44 or higher.
- Defeat the Arkonian Battleship. Location: Het’Tenz’A. Enemy strength is about 912,580.
- Defeat the Rebel leader. Location: Het’Tenz’A. Enemy strength is about 4,339,888.
- Report to Kang. Location: Kronos.
The assault starts with locating the base, then a hostile count with no system set. The two named fights both happen at the base: the Arkonian Battleship first, then the Rebel leader, who is almost five times as strong. After that you report to Kang on Kronos.
Where and what warp
You can accept The Art of Ruin at warp 1, but it needs warp 110 to finish. Het’Tenz’A and Kronos are the two systems.
The game lists a recommended level of 1. The real requirements are warp 110, 20 kills at level 44 or higher and a Rebel leader at about 4.3 million strength.

The Rebel leader is listed at the same strength as the rebel captain from the mission before, so a ship that won that fight is ready for this one. The Art of Ruin adds the hostile count and the Battleship on top.
Tips
Clear the 20 hostiles before moving on to the base fights. They can be taken anywhere, as long as they are level 44 or higher.
Repair between the Arkonian Battleship and the Rebel leader. The leader is the real test at about 4.3 million strength.
