Serum is a Federation faction mission in Star Trek Fleet Command where Starfleet asks for Independent help moving a huge cargo of medical supplies from Denobula to Andoria Prime. It has a single delivery objective, no fight, and needs warp 30 to complete. The game lists a recommended level of 1. The reward is large for the effort: 500 Federation Recruit Tokens, 500 Federation Credits and 100,000 Federation Points. It follows Shock and Awe.
Serum objectives
One objective, no choice split:
- Take the medical supplies to Andoria Prime. Location: Andoria.
That is the whole mission. You carry the supplies to Andoria Prime in the Andoria system, and the mission completes on arrival. No hostile is listed and nothing has to be donated or mined.
Where and what warp
There is no pickup system. Serum starts at warp 1 once Shock and Awe is complete, and it needs warp 30 to reach Andoria. That range is the only requirement.
The recommended level is listed as 1. Any ship that can make warp 30 can finish it.

The Klingon and Romulan Points figures are negative, so they are deductions rather than gains. The Klingon deduction, at 136,800, is larger than the 100,000 Federation Points gained. Serum does not unlock a further mission.

Ushaan is picked up in Andoria and needs the same warp 30, so you can take it on while you are there. It pays the same Federation Credits and Points as Serum but asks for a fight against Sovren at about 938,000 strength.
Tips
Send any ship with the range. With no combat and a single stop, a survey ship or spare hull works as well as your best battleship.
Run Shock and Awe first even if you only want Serum, since Serum does not appear until it is done. Together the two pay 800 Federation Credits and 123,000 Federation Points.
