Savage Lands is a level 12 standalone mission in Star Trek Fleet Command with one job: beat the local Nausicaan and Pakled hostiles into submission by defeating 15 hostiles of level 11 or higher. You can pick it up in Bellas or Nelve, it needs warp 8, and it pays 5,000 Parsteel. It is a straightforward grind that fits alongside the other missions in the same two systems.
Savage Lands objectives
One objective, no choice split:
- Defeat 15 Hostiles of Level 11 or higher.
No system is named for the kills and no specific enemy is listed. Any hostile of level 11 or above counts, so you choose where to fight and which targets to take.
Where and what warp
Savage Lands is offered in two pickup systems, Bellas and Nelve. It needs warp 8 to start and to complete.
The recommended level is 12, one above the minimum hostile level, so a ship on level for this stage should handle level 11 targets.
Savage Lands rewards
The reward is 5,000 Parsteel. Savage Lands does not unlock another mission.
For comparison, Scattering Crows also asks for 15 kills, but of level 24 hostiles at warp 19, and pays 150,000 Parsteel. Savage Lands is the early version of the same kind of job, sized for a level 12 ship.
Other missions picked up in Bellas and Nelve
| Mission | Level | Pickup | Warp to complete | Rewards |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Savage Lands | 12 | Bellas, Nelve | 8 | 5,000 Parsteel |
| In the Name of Love | 12 | Bellas | 10 | 8,000 Parsteel, 200 Dilithium |
| Crossed Blades | 13 | Bellas, Nelve | 8 | 1 1★ Survey Parts |
| The Seeds of Chaos | 14 | Bellas, Nelve | 8 | 8,000 Parsteel |
In the Name of Love has you return a precious artifact to its people, Crossed Blades pits you against the Takret leader Polsik, and The Seeds of Chaos has you turn the Nausicaans and Takret against each other. Savage Lands is the only one of the group that is purely a kill count.
Tips
Run it while you are working the other Bellas and Nelve missions. They need warp 8 to 10, so one trip out can cover several of them.
Pick hostiles right at level 11 or 12. Higher-level targets give no extra credit toward the count and take longer to beat.
Repair when you drop low. Fifteen fights is enough that a damaged ship will slow you down more than a quick repair. The mission guide lists every mission by level.
