No Stone Unturned

No Stone Unturned is a Federation-aligned Star Trek Fleet Command mission in which you help Starfleet hunt down a dangerous fugitive, ending in a fight with Ajal. It is picked up in Aruna or Voss, needs warp 13 to start and to finish, and runs through Vindemiatrix, Kaikara and Krah’Hor. There are two fights, both small. The reward is eight officer shards, 2 Latinum and 250 Federation Points, with a minor loss of Klingon and Romulan reputation.

No Stone Unturned objectives

The story line is “Starfleet needs help tracking down a dangerous fugitive.” There are seven objectives and no choice split:

  • Investigate reports of a wanted fugitive in Vindemiatrix. Location: Vindemiatrix.
  • Find the fugitive on Oltana. Location: Vindemiatrix.
  • Bribe the dockmaster.
  • Go to Kaikara. Location: Kaikara.
  • Defeat Ajal’s mercenary. Location: Kaikara. Enemy strength is roughly 17,801.
  • Go to Krah’Hor. Location: Krah’Hor.
  • Defeat Ajal. Location: Krah’Hor. Enemy strength is roughly 30,910.

The hunt runs in three stages. Vindemiatrix is the investigation, ending with a bribe for the dockmaster. Kaikara is the first fight, against a mercenary working for Ajal. Krah’Hor is the finish, where you face Ajal directly at nearly twice the mercenary’s strength. There is no return-to-station step, so the mission ends in Krah’Hor.

Where and what warp

You can accept No Stone Unturned in either Aruna or Voss. Warp 13 is needed both to start and to complete it, so reaching a pickup system means your ship can reach the rest of the route too.

The mission data lists a recommended level of 1. The two fights, at about 17,801 and 30,910 strength, are small, and they suit an early combat ship.

No Stone Unturned rewards

Reward Amount
Officer shards 8
Latinum 2
Federation Points 250
Klingon Points -198
Romulan Points -44

No follow-on mission is unlocked by No Stone Unturned.

The eight officer shards are the main prize. The current game data does not resolve which officer they belong to, so check the reward screen in game before you plan around them. The Federation Points gain is small, and so are the reputation losses: 198 Klingon Points and 44 Romulan Points.

Tips

Save your stronger ship for Krah’Hor. Ajal at roughly 30,910 is the harder of the two fights, and it comes last.

Check the bribe step when you reach it. The mission data does not list what the dockmaster bribe costs, so read the objective in game before you move on to Kaikara.

Mind the faction cost if you are leaning Klingon or Romulan. The losses are small here, but Krah’Hor is a Klingon system and the mission sides with Starfleet throughout.

Plan the trip home from Krah’Hor, since the mission does not bring you back. Every other mission by level is on the mission guide.
