Looking In is a five-part Star Trek Fleet Command mission chain where you join the crew of Deep Space Nine to hunt for a Bajoran accused of treason, then follow the trail into the Vaara Expanse and a Dominion surveillance array. Every part is recommended for level 25, warp to complete runs from 25 to 30, and the chain begins at Bajor. The headline rewards are officer shards for Ikat’ika and Weyoun, two parts each, plus 1M Tritanium tokens. It is a solid chain for a level 25 player who wants either officer.

Looking In Part 2
The search moves to the Vaara Expanse. You fight a Klingon scout at the edge of it, then push into Bettany against Jem’Hadar ships guarding the Data Accelerator. This is the most combat-heavy part of the chain, with three fights above 100,000 strength.

At the Data Accelerator, you deal with the Jem’Hadar fleet and their surveillance equipment. After one more fight, the mission asks how to dismantle the Dominion Array. Both options pay the same Tritanium tokens but differ in the second reward and in the cost.

Tips for completing Looking In
Enemy strength jumps sharply after Part 1. The first part’s Cardassian fights sit around 43,849 and 74,100, but Parts 2 and 3 bring four fights between about 101,520 and 104,274, and Underboss Gorra in Part 5 reaches about 131,625. For a level 25 commander, those later targets are demanding, so bring your best combat ship and a fighting crew, and repair between each step.
Warp is the other planning point. Parts 2, 3, and 4 all reach warp 30, sending you from Bajor to Salara, Bettany, Khitomer, and Yadow. Make sure your ship can cover that range before you start Part 2, because every part from there to Part 4 needs it.
The Part 3 choice comes down to cost and what you want back. Path B spends 3,000 Dilithium and gives a 1 day Peace Shield, which is handy if your station is under pressure. Path A costs nothing extra and pays three 1 day speed ups, which are worth more to most players. Both paths give the same five 1M Tritanium tokens.
Part 4 is the easiest combat step in the second half, with a single Klingon ship around 44,329. Use the travel legs in that part to recover before the two Orion fights in Part 5. The repair speed ups from Parts 4 and 5 help with exactly that.

Are the Looking In rewards worth it?
Yes, if you want Ikat’ika or Weyoun. Each officer gets shards from two parts, and around them you collect 39,000 Dilithium, five 1M Tritanium tokens, 33 repair speed ups, and either three 1 day speed ups or a 1 day Peace Shield. The resource side is light for a warp 30 chain, so the officers are the real reason to run it. If you already have both where you want them, run it later when the fights are easy.
