Interrogation Chamber

Interrogation Chamber is a level 11 rescue mission in Star Trek Fleet Command. A Starfleet officer needs help finding a kidnapped crew member, and you track the missing Ensign to the Elva system, where two small fights stand between you and the rescue. The mission can be picked up in four systems and needs warp 7 to start and finish. The reward is 2 1★ Survey Parts, so it is a short story detour more than a resource run.

Interrogation Chamber objectives

There are two objectives, both in Elva, and no choice split:

  • Search Commander Harthin’s ship for the kidnapped Ensign. Location: Elva (enemy strength about 2,935).
  • Rescue the Starfleet Ensign from Commander Polsik. Location: Elva (enemy strength about 3,725).

Both steps are fights. The first target, Commander Harthin’s ship, is listed at roughly 2,935 strength. The search then leads you to Commander Polsik, the slightly stronger of the two at about 3,725. Beating Polsik rescues the Ensign and completes the mission on the spot.

Where and what warp

Interrogation Chamber can be picked up in any of four systems: Zehoro, Eojur, Quvolis or Elva itself. Warp 7 is enough both to start and to complete.

The recommended level is 11, which matches the pickup systems. If you accept the mission in Elva, both fights are in the same system and there is no travel at all.

Interrogation Chamber rewards

The only listed reward is 2 1★ Survey Parts. No resources, speed ups or reputation points are attached, and the mission does not unlock a follow-up.

How the two fights compare

Step Target Enemy strength
1 Commander Harthin’s ship ~2,935
2 Commander Polsik ~3,725

Polsik is about 27 percent stronger than Harthin’s ship. If the first fight costs you a lot of hull, repair before you engage Polsik.

Tips

Pick the mission up in Elva if you can. Both objectives are there, so starting in Elva turns the whole mission into two back-to-back fights with no jumps in between.

Any combat ship you use around level 11 should handle both targets. They are small fights, and neither needs a special crew.

Because the reward is only two survey parts, run Interrogation Chamber when you are already in the area rather than making a dedicated trip. If you are fighting hostiles in these level 11 systems anyway, it adds a little story and a little loot for very little extra time. For more missions at this level, see the STFC mission guide.
