Home Stretch is a Star Trek Fleet Command mission where you relocate a group of refugees to the Torana system while the Borg close in. You pass the first checkpoint at Sorenle, answer a distress call in Hann, defeat a Borg attacker there, regroup with the refugees in Torana and escape. It starts at warp 1 and needs warp 22 to complete. The reward is 143,000 Tritanium and 29,000 Dilithium, and it continues the storyline about rallying help against the Borg.

Home Stretch objectives

There are five objectives and no choice split:

  • Go to the first checkpoint. Location: Sorenle.
  • Respond to the distress call. Location: Hann.
  • Defeat the Borg attacker. Location: Hann (enemy strength about 198,251).
  • Regroup with the refugees. Location: Torana.
  • Escape!

The route runs Sorenle, Hann, Torana. The one fight is in Hann, where a distress call turns out to involve a Borg attacker at roughly 198,251 strength. After beating it you meet the refugees in Torana, and the final Escape objective closes the mission.

Where and what warp

Home Stretch has no pickup system and starts at warp 1. Warp 22 is needed to complete it, which covers all three named systems.

The game lists a recommended level of 1. The real requirements are warp 22 and a ship that can beat a Borg attacker close to 200,000 strength.

Home Stretch rewards

Reward Amount
Tritanium 143,000
Dilithium 29,000

Completing the mission unlocks the next one in the chain.

Home Stretch and neighbouring missions

Before Home Stretch comes The Art of Misdirection, where you distract the Borg so the civilians have time to escape. After it comes Displaced, where you appeal to Shiio’s estranged brother to join the fight against the Borg threat.

Mission Recommended level Warp to complete Rewards
The Art of Misdirection 1 18 19 3★ Uncommon Refined Crystal, 62,000 Dilithium
Home Stretch 1 22 143,000 Tritanium, 29,000 Dilithium
Displaced 1 22 1,734,000 Parsteel, 51,000 Dilithium

Home Stretch raises the warp requirement from 18 to 22, and Displaced stays at 22. If your ship can reach Torana, it can handle the next mission as well.

Tips

Check your warp first. The Art of Misdirection only needed warp 18, so a ship that finished it may still be four short here.

Bring a combat ship for Hann. The Borg attacker is the only fight, but at close to 200,000 strength it is the step most likely to stop you.

Every mission in this stretch pays some Dilithium, so running them in order steadily builds your stock. For the rest of the Borg storyline, see the STFC mission guide.
