Discrepancies is a late-game mission in Star Trek Fleet Command where you dig further into Captain Beckett’s operations. It starts at warp 1 and needs warp 120 to complete, and the game lists a recommended level of 1. After investigating an orbital strike in Lu’Kash, you answer Lirohk’s accusations. Admitting your role leads to a fight of about 8,177,045 that pays Dilithium and Interceptor Parts. Denying it costs an 8M Dilithium tribute and pays 4★ refined crystal. Both unlock Debugging.

Discrepancies objectives

The shared opening has two objectives:

  • Investigate the orbital strike on the Klingon arms factory. Location: Lu’Kash.
  • Respond to Lirohk’s accusations.

Choice A: admit your role in the attack on Sesame

  • Defeat Lirohk. Location: Lu’Kash. Enemy strength is roughly 8,177,045.
  • Return to your Station.

Rewards: 90 4★ Uncommon Interceptor Parts, 8,370,000 Dilithium.

Choice B: deny involvement in the attack on Sesame

  • Donate 8M Dilithium in tribute to the fallen Klingons.
  • Return to your Station.

Rewards: 26 4★ Rare Refined Crystal, 100 4★ Uncommon Refined Crystal.

Both paths end with a return to your station. The choice decides whether you pay in combat or in Dilithium.

Where and what warp

The mission is available from warp 1 and needs warp 120 to complete, the range needed to reach Lu’Kash in Klingon space. The investigation and the Lirohk fight both happen there.

The recommended level is listed as 1. On Choice A the bar is an enemy of about 8.2 million strength; on Choice B it is 8M Dilithium in storage.

Discrepancies rewards

Reward Admit your role Deny involvement
4★ Uncommon Interceptor Parts 90 none
Dilithium 8,370,000 none
4★ Rare Refined Crystal none 26
4★ Uncommon Refined Crystal none 100

Either choice unlocks the next mission, Debugging.

The Dilithium swing

The two paths pull Dilithium in opposite directions. Admitting your role earns 8.37M Dilithium, while denying it costs 8M. Between the two, the difference is more than 16 million Dilithium. That makes the fight path the clear pick for anyone short on Dilithium who has a ship that can handle Lirohk.

The deny path is the way to get 4★ Rare Refined Crystal, which is slower to come by than Dilithium at this stage. If crystal is holding up your next upgrade and Dilithium is not, the tribute can be worth paying.

Tips

Decide before you reach the choice. Choice A sends you straight into the Lirohk fight in Lu’Kash, so repair beforehand if you plan to admit your role.

Bring your strongest ship on Choice A. At about 8.2 million strength, Lirohk is well beyond what the recommended level suggests.

Take the Interceptor Parts into account. They only come on the fight path, and they suit interceptor upgrades.

The mission before this one is Right of Vengeance, and the next is Debugging. Other missions sorted by level are on the mission guide.
