Keep Flying is a small donation mission in Star Trek Fleet Command: you give 2,000 Tritanium to the local Independent network and get recruit tokens and survey parts back. The game recommends level 9, the mission needs warp 5 to start and finish, and it can be picked up in any of 23 neutral systems. There is no travel beyond the pickup and no combat, so it takes as long as it takes to hand over the Tritanium.

Keep Flying objectives

Es gibt ein Ziel und keine Verzweigung:

  • Donate 2,000 Tritanium to the local Independent network.

The story line explains why: the Independent network needs Tritanium, and you are the one with some to spare. No system is attached to the objective, and the mission completes as soon as the resource is handed over.

Wo und welcher Warp

Keep Flying needs warp 5 both to start and to complete. It is offered in a long list of pickup systems: Liynuk, Bulut, Zonu, Tynkar, Mackers, Later, Gobbo, Rozi, Ethjamar, Dudu, Sohkia, Alannah, Maya, Doraboro, Flibble, Yoki Neesh, Dignam, Ellijo, Una, Luheez, Somaochu, Luca and Mari.

Pick whichever of those systems is closest to where your ship already is. Most of them are level 9 neutral systems, which lines up with the recommended level of 9 for the mission. Because they are spread across so many locations, you rarely need to fly far out of your way to accept it.

The only real requirement is having 2,000 Tritanium in the bank. There is no hostile count, no named enemy and no second system to visit, so the mission is finished the moment the donation goes through.

Keep Flying rewards

Belohnung Amount
Premium Recruit Token 25
1★ Survey Parts 15

The recruit tokens are the more useful half of the payout at level 9. The 1★ Survey Parts go toward survey ship upgrades.

Tips

Check your Tritanium before you accept. At level 9, 2,000 Tritanium is a noticeable amount, and it competes with station upgrades that also call for it. If a building upgrade is waiting on Tritanium, finish that first and come back to Keep Flying afterwards.

Because there is no fight, any ship can do this, including one you would otherwise leave docked. Warp 5 keeps it within reach of new commanders.

With 23 pickup systems, there is a good chance one sits on a route you already fly. Grab it when it is on your route rather than making a special trip. For other missions around level 9, see the STFC mission guide.
