Displacement is a five-part Star Trek Fleet Command mission chain about a colony being forced from its homes, the hunt for the tomb of Palthani, and a gemstone that a treasure hunter named Koerner wants for himself. It is recommended for level 50 to 51, starts at warp 160 in Klos, and reaches warp 185 in its later parts. Rewards across the chain include at least 30 million Dilithium, 500 Premium Recruit Tokens, 1B Parsteel Tokens, billions of Parsteel in the last two parts and a steady supply of repair speed-ups and 100K Tritanium Tokens. It is a long-range chain for late-game commanders.

Tips for completing Displacement

Warp is the first hurdle. Part 1 cannot even be started below warp 160, and Parts 3 and 5 need warp 185 to complete. Check your best ship’s range against 185 before you commit, because Part 5 sends you from Klos to Dela and back.

Set aside 60M Tritanium for Part 2. It is the one payment you cannot avoid. The 100K Tritanium Tokens from Part 1 cover only a small slice of it.

The Part 4 choice trades a fight for a donation. The Suliban fight (about 15.6M strength) is the toughest named battle in the chain, and winning it pays 16,875,000 Dilithium plus 500 three-hour speed-ups. Paying 45M Dilithium skips the fight and pays 150 fifteen-hour speed-ups and nearly 6 billion Parsteel. If your ship can take a 15.6M enemy and you want Dilithium, fight; if Parsteel is your bottleneck and you have the Dilithium spare, pay.

Combat elsewhere is steady: three Takret Raiders at 13.4M to 13.9M in Part 1, Koerner at 15.2M in Part 5, and grinds of 15 level 51+ hostiles in Part 3 and 20 level 48+ hostiles in Part 5. Every part pays 10 thirty-minute repair speed-ups, so use them between the back-to-back Raider fights.

Other late-game chains are listed in the Missionsleitfaden.

Are the Displacement rewards worth it?

Yes for a level 50 commander with the warp range. The chain pays at least 30 million Dilithium, five 1B Parsteel Tokens, more than 4 billion Parsteel in Part 5 alone, 500 Premium Recruit Tokens, a 1 Day Peace Shield and 50 repair speed-ups. The costs are 60M Tritanium and, if you choose to pay in Part 4, 45M Dilithium. There are no officer shards, so its value is in Ressourcen.
