Upgrade Shipyard: Level 12 is a station mission in Star Trek Fleet Command with one objective: raise your Shipyard to level 12. It needs only warp 1 to start and finish, and the game lists a recommended level of 1, so the upgrade itself is the only gate. The reward is 1,000 Tritanium, and completing it unlocks the next station mission, Upgrade Operations to Level 13. It is a small bonus for an upgrade you need anyway.
Upgrade Shipyard: Level 12 objectives
The story line reads: upgrade the Shipyard to gain access to new and more powerful ships. There is one objective and no choice split:
- Upgrade Shipyard to Level 12.
No system is named, no hostile is listed and nothing is donated. The mission clears when the Shipyard reaches level 12.

The recommended level is listed as 1, but the mission only completes once Shipyard 12 is built, so the building’s own requirements are the real bar.

The reward climbs by a few hundred Tritanium per level at this stage. None of these Missionen pay repair speed ups, unlike the Operations and R&D Department missions around them.
Tips
The Shipyard raises Ship Construction Speed and Tier Up Speed with every level, from 14% at level 10 to 24% at level 15, so the upgrade is worth doing for the building alone.
The station missions in this range hand off to each other. The one before this is Upgrade R&D Department to Level 12, which pays 750 Tritanium and two 3 Minute Repair Speed Ups, and the one after is Upgrade Operations to Level 13, which pays 1,400 Tritanium and two 3 Minute Repair Speed Ups.
