Node Solo Outpost

The Node Solo Outpost is a Node-faction solo armada target in Star Trek Fleet Command that sits at a fixed level in one system rather than roaming. It spans levels 53 to 80 and appears as a single Station/Armada target, so you attack it with one strong ship or a formed armada instead of countering a hull class. It drops Solo Outpost Credits, and its Psionic Assault ability drains your hull every round, so bring a ship that can survive a long fight.

How to beat the Node Solo Outpost

The Node Solo Outpost is a stationary armada-style target, not a roaming hostile, so there is no Interceptor, Battleship, or Explorer triangle to play here. It shows up as a single Station/Armada target at each level, which means you bring your strongest available ship, or form an armada with your alliance, and lean on raw damage and survivability rather than swapping hull classes. A solo run works when your ship out-scales the Outpost’s level; if it does not, a formed armada spreads the incoming fire across several players and makes the kill safer. Either way, you are racing the clock against its hull decay. For other solo armada targets, see the Solo Armadas hub.

Two Outpost abilities are always active. Psionic Assault picks one of your ships at the start of combat and applies Hyperthermic Decay, draining that ship’s hull health every round for the whole fight. The drain scales with level, from 2% of maximum hull per round at level 53 up to 20% at level 80, so a higher-level Outpost can bleed you out if the fight drags. Diverted Power keeps the Outpost’s critical hit damage from dropping below 150%, so expect steady heavy crits. Both abilities push you toward strong hull and repair capacity and a fast kill.

For crew, lead with a captain that boosts weapon damage against hostiles or armada targets, then fill the other seats with Offiziere that add damage or mitigation. The best picks move with the game’s meta, so check the current Officer Tier List before you commit. Whatever you slot, favor officers that raise your damage output or shore up your hull, because the longer the Outpost survives, the more its hull decay adds up.

Where to find the Node Solo Outpost

Node Solo Outposts scale by level, and each level sits in its own set of systems, from warp 255 at the low end to warp 3000 at the top. Lower-level Outposts cluster in closer systems like Dullaghan and Viriathus, while the level 80 version sits deep out at Neryth. The warp requirement jumps sharply between bands, from 255 at level 53 to 1100 by level 66 and 3000 at level 80, so plan your warp research and fuel around the level you intend to farm. Match your warp range to the level you want before you set out.

Ebene Warp Systeme
53 255 Dullaghan, Viriathus
56 355 Omberis, Zepharion
60 520 Dravonex, Soltaris
63 900 Kalythra, Virelian, Xandara
66 1100 Caldris
70 1300 Vexar
73 1550 Othryos
76 2000 Myrthos
80 3000 Neryth

Rewards and what it drops

The Node Solo Outpost pays out in Solo Outpost Credits, a currency you spend in the solo armada store. A single kill drops anywhere from 600 credits at the low end to 2,400,000 at the highest levels, so the deeper Outposts are far more rewarding per run. These targets give no ship XP, so grind them for the credits, not for leveling a ship.

Node Solo Outpost stats

Stats vary by level and climb steeply, so a level 80 Outpost dwarfs its level 53 counterpart. These anchor rows show the low, middle, and top of the range.

Node Solo Outpost firing pattern

The Outpost fires two energy weapons and two kinetic weapons, all every round. The kinetic pair hits about twice as hard per shot as the energy pair, so kinetic mitigation does the most to blunt its damage. Every weapon can crit for 10% at 1.5x, and the figures below are for the lowest-level record; higher levels scale up.

Weapon type Count Damage per shot Fires Crit
Energie 2 14,615,556–15,886,474 Every round 10% (1.5x)
Kinetic 2 29,231,111–31,772,947 Every round 10% (1.5x)

Where Node Outposts fit in the game

Node Solo Outposts belong to the Aggregation, one of the game’s later-arc factions rather than a species from the shows. They exist as solo armada targets: fixed structures you and your alliance hit for credits, part of the endgame solo and formation armada loop. If you are working through that content, the Outposts give a steady flow of Solo Outpost Credits at a level that matches your ships.

Is the Node Solo Outpost worth grinding?

If you are deep enough to field a strong ship or run armadas, Node Solo Outposts are a clean way to bank Solo Outpost Credits, and the higher levels pay out far more per kill. They give no ship XP, so treat them as a credit farm rather than a leveling target. Match your warp to the level you want, bring your best hull and repair setup, and end the fight before its Psionic Assault decay stacks up.
