Market Share is a level 69 neutral mission in Star Trek Fleet Command in which you run dirty errands for Lunzo, a Ferengi trader out to ruin his rival Davar. It starts in Wigg and needs warp 1,550 to start and complete. There are two fights, both light for this level, and a 20B Parsteel payment you should budget for before you accept. The rewards are 1,662,000 Raw Σ-Dilithium and 18,900 Progenitor Alloy, a strong return if you can spare the Parsteel.
Market Share objectives
Lunzo blames Davar for taking his customers and wants him left with nothing. The objectives are in a fixed order, with no choice split:
- Sabotage the delivery of refined Erze in Biba.
- Defeat the security vessel in Biba (enemy strength ~13,345,345,186).
- Visit the supplier in Cor’Tun.
- Pay the supplier 20B Parsteel.
- Find the last competitor in Sassafras.
- Defeat Lunzo in Sassafras (enemy strength ~13,345,345,186).
The first job is to spoil a shipment of processed ore bound for Davar’s warehouse. A security ship catches you in the act and tries to board, so Maia suggests disabling it. Next, Lunzo sends you to the mining company that supplies Davar, and its owner agrees to drop the contract for 20B Parsteel. Lunzo promises to pay you back. His last set of coordinates leads to Sassafras, where he turns on you so that you cannot sell him out to Davar.

The mission is picked up in Wigg. Warp 1,550 is enough for the start and the finish, and the route runs through Biba, Cor’Tun and Sassafras. The recommended level is 69.

Tips
Check your Parsteel before you start. The 20B payment sits in the middle of the mission, and nothing moves on until it is made. If you run short, you can clear the first two steps and come back once you have enough.
Neither fight should worry a ship built for level 69. The security vessel and Lunzo’s ship are both listed at about 13.3 billion strength, far below the trillion-range fights in the level 70 Margins missions. The hard part is the resource cost, not the combat.
Lunzo never repays the 20B, since he tries to kill you instead, so count it as the real price of the rewards. The 1.66 million Raw Σ-Dilithium is the main return (see Dilithium und Sigma resources). If you want more missions at this level, the mission guide sorts them for you.
