In Plain Sight is a three-part mission chain in which you help Section 31 find its missing recon ship, gather information about a rebel Klingon putsch and stop the House of Notaak before it starts a new war. All parts are recommended for level 45. The chain starts by beaming Alok aboard your ship, and warp to complete is 110, 61 and 105. Part 1 pays 374 million Parsteel, and Part 3 pays 450 GS-31 Parts and 220 Covert Modifications.

In Plain Sight Part 1
Section 31 has lost track of its recon ship, GS-31. With Alok aboard, you find it in Het’Tenz’A, pay to repair its warp core and deal with a Klingonisch scout.
- Beam Alok aboard your vessel.
- Locate GS-31, in the Het’Tenz’A system.
- Repair GS-31’s warp core with 18M Dilithium.
- Stop the Klingon scout, in the Het’Tenz’A system (enemy strength ~8,404,033).
- Defeat 15 hostiles of level 45 or higher.
Warp to complete: 110. Rewards: 374,400,000 Parsteel, 180,000 4★ Rohgas, 1,200 Ship XP.
In Plain Sight Part 2
A rebellious Klingon house is planning a putsch. You track it to Ty’Rall, join the remaining House members and defend Qu’Asi’s honor to earn the ally’s mark.

In Plain Sight Part 3
The House of Notaak has to be stopped before it sparks a war. In Kri you get past the scanner interference, shield a cargo vessel, neutralize Torok Notaak and intercept the vessel before it reaches the planet.

Tips for completing In Plain Sight
Two resource payments stand out. Part 1 asks for 18M Dilithium to repair GS-31’s warp core, and Part 3 asks for 300K 4★ Raw Crystal to bypass the scanner interference. Start setting the crystal aside early.
Torok Notaak in Part 3 is the toughest fight at about 10.8 million strength. The Klingon scout in Part 1 is about 8.4 million, and the Part 2 duel over Qu’Asi’s honor is about 8.2 million. Part 1 also ends with 15 hostiles of level 45 or higher.
Part 2 is the shortest trip at warp 61, and every objective in it is in Ty’Rall.
Are the In Plain Sight rewards worth it?
Yes, especially if you are building the GS-31. The chain pays 374,400,000 Parsteel, 13,534,000 Tritanium, 6,820,000 Dilithium, 180,000 4★ Raw Gas, 47,000 4★ Raw Ore, 110,000 4★ Raw Crystal, 1,200 Ship XP, 3 × 12 Hr Peace Shield, 220 Covert Modifications and 450 GS-31 Parts.
